I do enjoy the fact that Utica NY politic are just so messed up in every way.
That is why Utica will never move forward,

Jack love your flyer I think you forget to do some paper work, Seing that you are a current NEW YORK STATE PAROLE OFFICER you MUST NYS HATCH ACT seeing you did not do this

The employee who (is involved with the leasing of property for his agency) asked his supervisor whether the provisions of Public Officers Law 74 prohibit him from seeking election to a seat on the city council in the area of his jurisdiction and holding such seat if elected. Both the administrative director and the commissioner denied the request to run for and serve on the city council.

The employee now has asked the Commission whether he may seek election either to a seat on the [] city council or a position on the [] school board.(1)

Your political party knows this and so do you Time for ALBANY to find out

I Googled this guy after hearing something on the news about a Utica councilman wanting special parking spaces for widows of veterans. Nothing like dividing us up into more and more special entitled groups. This guy appears to be a real jerk always living off the taxpayer. CNY Homepage has a blurb about him saying that he retired from a job involving emergency management that I am pretty sure was a government job and now he is a parole officer. The idea that people like him already get a pension then take a job that others really could benefit from bothers me. It wouldn't be so bad if his post retirement job was in the private sector, but that is not where parasites go.

REPEAT - Political corruption is the use of powers by government officials for illegitimate private gain. An illegal act by an officeholder constitutes political corruption only if the act is directly related to their official duties, is done under color of law or involves trading in influence.

For answers to this dilemma, in Oneida County there is political collusion; examples - ALL the uncontested races for NYS Senate, Assembly, Sheriff, County Clerk and Congress. Political parties and their ideologies have NO meaning here.

You're correct. The elections are a farce. The candidates run unopposed in each party. That way each party gets a piece of the action, I.e. patronage jobs, graft, contracts steered to the connected, etc., etc. Why do u think that when the state senate seat & the assembly seats come up for election, both incumbents run unopposed? The fix is in. These people make the Mafia look like Saints.

I agree - He is one of many double dipping in Oneida County, Utica, Rome, etc. Just check the public payroll records. Why doesn't the media expose this information to the hard working taxpayers.

Highly unethical to be paying his pension costs on his two (2) government positions. Insults the property owners who have a hard enough time paying their taxes.

But he's not breaking the law!!! And council members Do not get a pension. They get paid only $7,000 a year. Instead of being pissed off at him why aren't you pisses at all the welfare people in our city. They don't work or pay taxes- they mooch off the system. Welfare/ Mesicaid is what's driving our taxes up. Think about that.
