Ole Marty is too busy with court appearances, fines and lawsuits from all of the faulty roofs and slipshod work that he has done over the years. He doesn't have the time.

Picks on younger kids in the school just cause he's a little bigger.. Your a loser man got the IQ of a 9 year old with autism.. Ridin your skateboard around town like a little bitch. Glad you got benched because your as soft as baby shit and so is your pussified father who looks like he gets beat by your whore mother on a nightly basis. Can't wait to grow up and see you checking out my groceries at Hannafords so I can look you in the eye and tell you how big of a failure you are. Quit pickin on little kids tough guy, one day one of them is going to punch you little pea head, bitch.
JP Gilroy is a loser? Says the person who won't put their name, says they are from Geneva, and makes fun of a child? Judging by your barely 2nd grade grammar, I'm going to pray you are a child yourself. That makes it ALMOST excusable to be such a coward behind a computer screen.

Every generation of Gilroys has possessed an attitude of entitlement. They actually believe that they deserve a pass on any abhorrant action taken. I guess this generation is no different. I don't hate this kid, I pity him.

This is just pathetic that we are all arguing over something so stupid. Bryon never liked ROTC and would persuade his players not to join. When in reality that's the best program the school has to offer and people should encourage their kids to join because it builds skills that will help your children through life, more then football will ever do for them. If the QB ever missed a week of school then we all know for a fact he will play that entire game. And judging families? What is this? Grow up and don't talk shit about someone's child. I heard JP did a great job at boot camp. Boot camp is all about working out, so the foot ball players got a work out in everyday. Sister Anna Mae gave specific orders and all the other coaches obeyed the rule except for bryon because he only thinks about himself and winning.

They suspend a coach at a high school and yet that POS with the psycho kid that is constantly using his office and contacts to get the little deviant sicko SOB off. Tampering with evidence, bullying people it just goes on and on is still working for the courts that are supposed to uphold the law and not use them to benefit himself and his psycho offspring. Neither psycho should be near a gun and this guy is deciding who should get a pistol.

Gilroy is a joke, ask him if he follows rules ( laws ) with his legal problems some years ago and he is allowed to sit on the board?

If you are part of a team and you miss a practice, REGARDLESS OF THE REASON, then you DON'T PLAY! It's as simple as that! To say that Sr. Anna Mae ORDERED Mr. Abraham to play these boys is ridiculous! What in Gods name does she know about football or any sport for that matter? It's unfortunate that these players had ROTC Boot Camp, but it's not fair for the boys that were at practice every day with their teammates while these boys were away. I don't care how rigorous the boot camp was, they weren't practicing as a team for an upcoming game! This is the problem with the world today, parents don't want to tell their kids NO!

I applaud you Mr. Abraham for doing the right thing and sitting these boys and I'm sorry that these parents acted like crybabies. What a lousy example they are. Learn to use the word NO with your kids!

So what, they were not at practice. It doesn't matter where they were. No coach would ever play a kid who misses the four days of practice before a game. and if its is mandatory, why didn't the other ROTC kids go? because they chose not to go, like my son. He chose to skip it and it won't change his grade. JP Gilroys father is a jerk who thinks his kid is good at sports, but he sucks

its funny how your son isnt even in rotc. he quit rotc because he didnt want to go to boot camp. good one man. nice lie.

Hey Nick Saban, this is Class C High School football, not Ala-freaking-Bama!!

Since you're an expert on parenting, why not call out the coach for crying like a baby on social media and not accepting his suspension?

You're all pathetic excuses for adults. You're all acting childish trash talking on an anonymous website about teenage boys and matters you know nothing about. Reevaluate your lives. Instead of spending time being heartless fools on this website, go spend time with you're children. As a teenager myself, this website, and you people participating in this mockery and childish banter, make me lose faith in humanity. Set an example. Grow up.

First of all: Lay off the Gilroy kid. All of you.

He is not part of this. He's just a young kid enjoying his high school and young life.

Second of all: We reap what we sow. Be careful that this doesn't blow up. It sets a dangerous precedent and is everything that is wrong with youth sports. Parents need to stay out of it and let the coaches do their job. They deserve the respect that their role provides. If you disrespect the coach, you disrespect the teacher, the bus driver, the policeman, the neighbor next door, the mayor, the president, etc.

Is that what we all remember from our youth because I don't. We brought it to the field, the gym, or the playground. We policed ourselves, we took care of others, and created bonds and memories that last a lifetime.

What's next. A public lynching for failure of a coach to play someone the amount of time a parent felt was appropriate for his child. After all, tuition dollars are paid and that "ENTITLES" the player and family to their fair share of the playing time. Maybe the other team won't mind if special care and treatment can be provided so that everyone will no who the Special Child is.

See that's my son out there. He's the best player on the team but he lets everyone else play more because he's that kind of boy.

These parents would work great in bowling, swimming, or golf. I can just see it now.

Hey Coach, my son has much better bowling form than Jimmy Who averages a 220 game. After all, Jimmy hooks the ball and my son bowls it straight. I know my son bowls 120 but just look at his form.

That's my daughter doing the breast stroke. Just look at that kick. She learned it from her personal swimming instructor. Yes dad, but her times are 20 seconds longer than the next kid on the team. But coach, she can hold her breath under water while she chews gum.

That's my son on the third tee. He's got the newest Titleist driver and plays the same irons as Tiger Woods. He takes his lessons from Phil Mickelson. yeah dad, but he's 12 over par after 2 holes. at this rate he'll be out of balls by the 4th hole.

Maybe its' just time to take up fishing. You and your family can just not get along with others.

Love or hate the coach..does not matter..understand something about football, if your not present for a whole week prior to a contest there is no way in hell you should step on that playing field come game time. This is not about a punishment but what is right. In football you prepare for your next opponent, you game plan, you change plays on both offensive and defensive sides of the ball to fit what the other teams weaknesses and strengths are. You practice everyday running your offense and defense against the plays your opponent that week wiill be running. If you miss more than two practices for football prior to a game then you are going to be totally lost. Not only do you risk severe injury to that player who was not present but for those players around him. The parents here are wrong and so is the administration. Football is not a non violent sport and being unprepared could bring brave consequences. There is not a football coach in America that would have allowed any of these four players to suit up let alone get on the field. Stop living your lives through the eyes of your children. They did nothing wrong and what happened is not a punishment
