Where the hell was your god last night? People like you that try to throw god down our throats because you are brainwashed, make me sick. Keep your religious crap to yourself.
So because she mentions God once she's jamming religion down your throat right? Guess that applies to the woman whose "prayers" go out to the families too huh? Don't shit on people who are actaully contributing to this thread unlike your ignorant ass... You obviously don't care about the girl or both families.

you guys are making Wayne County sound intelligent.
Some family just lost their baby girl and you talk THIS shit?
This happens because these podunk towns place incredible emphasis on these kids "sports careers" and graduate idiots. The people born here are a little slow to start off with and about all they ever seem talk about is "football" - "Saranac drunk night" and "who farts the best" and of course "coach toughguy wars" for the coach with the biggest mouth and attitude debate, from the sounds of it. This is about the pinnacle of intelligence for the area so it is no wonder 99.9% of these people end up in debt or living paycheck to paycheck or like this punk here, nobody wants to give "hockey heroes" and football kings a job outside of a prison or cheese police department smelling a dog's ass for 20 years and abusing people they LOVE to hire neanderthals with tempers like this show me where that's not true.
The girl out grew the punk and probably was on to bigger better things if you catch the drift and hamfist NH sports king boy couldn't handle it, or college for that matter.
If only he had waited till he became a NH cop or a Trooper he would do a few weeks and walk if history is any guide how these people work up here! You build these kids up with this paper superiority and they freak when they finally realize life will pass them by. Just like Alexa was in the process of passing this jerkoff by! You do it to yourselves. Raise your kids to excel at hitting a rubber puck instead of math, science. history and humanity then don't be surprised when this is the glory they get after they end up left in the dust by the life they wanted and "expected". Have another round and sleep it off new hickford!

How awful that the OD prints pictures of this kid winning a hockey game when they should be reporting on the fact that he was arrested for a brutal murder? Maybe he can get a judge and lawyer from new hartford too...
In 2011, he was arrested in FL for disorderly intoxication. WKTV aka Y-Watch-2 (YNN is so much better) STILL has him on their Athlete of the Week page. DISGUSTING!

Sorry, no god. Just a cold blooded murderer from New Hartford that happened to be good at a sport. I blame the derelict parents for failing him.
If that is true then your parents failed you. Look at your intelligence level. There have been many studies with regards to nature vs nurture.
It really doesn't matter. There are kids who are brought up in poor/abusive/ ect families that turn out to be responsible productive humans and those who are brought up in a loving caring responible home that turn out severly troubled.

Example: 2 parents have more than 1 child. Each child is brought up in the same manner. Each child has a different personality, likes, talents.
Easy to always blame the parents but not true.

I will be willing to bet that this had something to do with alcohol, much like the UVa case. The reason the coverage is centered on this probably spoiled, entitled brat, is because the victim's name has not been released yet. I know many college aged kids who drink too much, but they do not beat their girlfriends to death. I would have thought the arrest in Florida would have been a wake up call, but I guess not. And by the way, he had to be pretty bad to be arrested in Brevard for "public intoxication", they don't have time down there to make such arrests, unless the original crimes were pretty bad.(I'm guessing they dropped assault)
Monroe County is a very conservative area, and he will not get off lightly here.(This is NOT a place where you EVER want to be a defendant!)
They ARE very conservative. Hopefully they will go heavy. If it was a different situation of just abuse or protective order they would have let him off easy. Monore County is known to give 10 chances and drag things out. Their jails are over crowded and give the criminals a hundered chances and schedule and reschulde over and over so it plays out over a L-O-N-G period of time.

Religious crap...? I will have you know I am not a church going person, but I have faith. Not trying to push religion down anyone's throat. Could care less who believes in God and who does not. As to answer your question, "where the hell was your God last night?" I do not know. But I can tell you this, it is not God who does these horrific things. It is people, and the devil who tricks them. May the Lord forgive you for being so judgemental. and know that society brainwashes us all!

Its Sunday morning and I cannot believe this is the page I clicked on this morning. I suppose I am looking for some shread of decency on here towards both families, and all I seem to be reading is garbage with a few bright spots. The bottom line is this people. Clayton was a wonderful hockey player in hs, is a son to parents who love him, a brother to his siblings, friend to others, and a boyfriend to one little girl who is no longer with us. And it appears as if he is responsible for her death. I cannot imagine or swallow the hardships and pain of both families for Clayton's wrong doing. But, He is a human being with ups and downs like all of us. None of us know the facts except those that were in the room that terrible night. As for Alex and her family, I can only imagine they will not have peace for a long time. And if you believe in God or not, say a prayer for them or do whatever it is you do when in need. Both these families need he support of their friends, family and community. Not us on here posting and argueing. New Hartford is a safe, clean, near crime free place to live. I know, I grew up there, have traveled, and miss the little town. People who live there are not scum, thugs, or anything like that. Most are married still, have good jobs, and raise their children well. But kids do what they want no matter how well you raise them. Clayton was not a spoiled kid, or entitled, as some have said. And Alex did not deserve what happened to her. There are two sides to this story. Two victims, and of course the families are victims as well. It would behoove everyone to try to imagine yourself in the position of both sides. If you were Alex's parents, how would you feel? Pissed off...? Revengeful...? In immense pain...? Wanting Clayton to pay for the rest of his life...? IF you were Clayton's parents, how would you feel. Shocked...? Hurt...? Curious as to how your son could do such a thing...? Remorse...? None of us know how either parents feels. None of us know what went on, exactly between these two young people over the course of their relationship. All we know for sure is that they were dating, the young lady has lost her life, and Clayton is most likely responsible and has apparently admitted to it. But Passing judgment is not our job on either side. Pull together people. Show respect for you and everyone else. No one knows what goes on in anyone elses life to make them behave and do what they do. The passing judgement needs to cease, for the sake of both families. Send cards, love, support and prayers, not insults and opinions about something none of us really knows about.

Kogut Family: I did not know your daughter, but my children did. We send our love and support to all of you during this time. May her memory live on forever. Our prayers are with you. Stay strong.

Whittemore Family: Sandy, I am praying for you. I wish I was back in NH to pay my respects to Alex, and hug you. Do not blame yourself for this. My prayers are with you. Stay stong.

May peace and love find both of your families, and your children.

This is my last post.

So much for all those early morning getups to take your prized all star hockey player to practice and traveling hours to go to a game all to have your prized all star son go on a steroid rage and beat the hell out of his girlfriend. Some of these sports towns put these dirtbags on pedestals. Thats why they all have egos the size of sky scrapers. As a father of a daughter I feel for the families and the victim and I hope he gets life and enjoys his cellmate ... No steroids in prison... just bubba..

first of all clayton you deserves what comes to you. second of all to the person that brought shit up about carson you are probably a parent of a kid that wasnt good enough to play. how was he supposed to lnow that 4 years after he was done playing he would murder someone? that is the most absurd thing i have ever heard. how about everyone worries about their own children instead of telling someone the fucked up on raising their own. yea clayton actions were entirely wrong and he deserves to rot in hell but come on people this is absurd. as a nh alumni and nh hockey alumni it sickens me to think someone actually has the nerve to blame a highschool athletic coach for this. situations like this happen everyday around the world its just sad it touches home so close to heart.
