Finally laid to rest? That's about the most superficial comment there ever was.

It won't be laid to rest until criminal liability is affixed and somebody goes to jail for ripping off taxpayers and homeowners.

I'm just a citizen who reads the paper and who has some of my memory remaining. I read about investigations, and people changing jobs but nothing ever comes of the investigations.

In the past I have served on a local school board and on various governance boards and advisory committees so I'm familiar with the basics. I'm nothing special; I vote, I pay taxes, and I try to give back to my community. I loathe so-called civil servants who serve only themselves.
