Great photo. I think people are so nostalgic about Riverside Mall because it's from a time when the area had so much more promise. Now, it seems we are stuck in a horrible rut; the rest of the world is just racing by.

Yeah, I guess you are right. The area is declining and there is nothing here to keep anyone here. I'm not saying just the mall, but everything. There is not attractions bringing anyone to the are. The city it's self is a part of it as well, sadly. It,s just really run down.

Well said but I question the phrasing declining? It's already declined. Refugees are being brought in to fill the city and the city government with nice state and federal money.

You don't have a clue what the truth is. Living in Cliffyland has warped the truth for you forever.

Actually I do. The truth is what you're living in that cess pool of an area. An area that has to import the poor from other countries to live there. That's the truth.

What a great find, thanks for posting the link to the photobucket picture. I just found about a dozen total pictures on that photobucket of various shots inside the mall.

All you have to do is change the last numbers of the JPG file name in the url to see all of them, you can go back about 8 and forward about 5.

There is actually an old photo of Camelot Music on Sangertown's facebook page. I don't recall there being one there, but I guess there was.

I remember when my dad Chuck Steele used to be the manager of the arcade back in the early 90's. My mom used to work there, too and she would always bring me in as a little girl and I got to play all the games. She used to go to Taco Bell in the mall and bring me back a soft shell taco lol. Then my dad became the manager of the candy store that used to be there, too. THOSE were the best few years of my life as a little kid. Free candy! I also remember the Ground Round and Montgomery Ward. Such a sad thing that those days are over :(
