Whitestown wins 11-12 district 10 Little League title 7-4 in 9 innings. Very gutsy game by NH.

Talent down this year, but it didn't stop Whtstwn from repeating. Absolutely great coaching throughout their LL system is the key.

Right now Whitestown are the kings of little league in the area but lets not get carried away. Yes the coaches do a great job but who's kidding who, when it's all said and done, you will be looking at some future MUNY League players for Wednesday night getting their drink on down at the Harp just like their fathers are now.

Then you should just stay drunk at the bar and don't bother going to the LL games. Leave the kids alone, they'll do just fine.

Couldn't agree more. Great game if you leave it to the kids and not the adults "coaches that are full of themselves" "Great Coaches" I was at the games and I here these "Great Coaches" tell their players that are batting to move up or back in the box depending on how the pitcher is throwing, the same "Great Coaches" that tell pitchers to throw to the glove. Both concepts are wrong. So to "all" of the self professed "Great Coaches" the kids win in spite of the coaches.

When players are batting, third base coach is over coaching just to listen to himself talk.

Whitestown has a dominant program because of the numbers and the only threat comes every now and then from New Hartford. It was a terrifc game but, if NH won, probably would not be able to be them twice.

Realty sets in when they play outside the district. I wish them the best because they are local and wish the kids success. Hopefully each realizes there is life after, if not they will become their parents reliving the limited glory and working a nothing job.

PS, anyone know who won the C's game (10U) yesterday

East Utica Mt. Carmel got screwed by umps again. We had the most talent by far but the umps suck, can't tell difference between strike and ball.

you have to watch out for are the whitestown c's. they are a dominant group of kids. When they are 12 yrs old, they could go a long way. Half of them righ now could play on the a's, and they have two more years of little league yet.

I haven't been involved in NHLL for nearly 20 years but the pitching over there has been lights out this year.

Thats because the right kids arent on the team. Parents bending over and taking it gets your kid on the team.
