They just tightened the slots 10%. Nobody will win at this casino. They make their own rules and should abide by the state laws like Vernon Downs. I am done giving my money to this place that has odds stacked against us. The amount of money that they make is rediculous. They are ripping us off. Also,it was very obvious that something was going on Sunday when many machines were out of service because they were changing the computer chips to make it harder to win. I have a good friend that works on the slots and he told me what they did. Ray, you should nbe ashamed.

Odds for slots have gotten considerably worse. I've charted a $20 dollar contribution for the last 5 years on average of 50 weeks per year and have noticed over the past 3 months that I'm out within 3-5 minutes.

My $5,240 contribution has me still at minus $3,760. The registry of Indian owned casinos places TS at the bottom for having the worst odds in the United States.

Expect to lose!!!

Where do you think all the millions of dollars are coming from to make their quarterly payments to NYS/Cuomo? The most recent $11M. Ray's not taking it out of his pocket. If people stood in line and I asked each of them to give me their money, they would refuse. People - you're giving your money away!! The odds of the big payout are very, very slim. My own personal survey tells me the payoff at Vernon Downs is more frequent.

Software on the new machines, etc. is still causing problems. I think it would have been a better option for Ray to concentrate on the new machine process rather than whining about football team names!

It's a nightmare there.

Casino isn't there to let everyone win its risk no matter what... Every machine has to payout sooner or later if your lucky enough to be sitting at it then great... But to sit there and make like you should win big every time you walk in the door is rediculous, and more than likely you have a huge gambling problem if you think this way, get help...

Worst paying casino in NY. Look at the reporting to the NYSGC.

Casinos are for losers and chumps anyway.

I used to go to TS 2 or 3 times a month but when the pay outs dropped and machines tightened up, I gave it up completely. It's unfortunate but I think TS got a little too greedy. There are better ways to spend your entertainment dollars and in the end, it's the TS that's the real loser.

"Real loser". Can you explain this comment? Their profits have risen every year so please elaborate.

What you were saying about Sunday, they were doing the same on Monday the ones near the exit area across from the food court near the 25 cent machines behind the penny and nickel games. I had fun yesterday but I made a fatal mistake when I won over $100 on a penny slot not to walk away, I thought I would but knowing that I may be at the end of my life for there may be no tomorrow for me in my life I decided to piss the wins away. I regret that I did at the same time I did have the money to play the games I wanted to play it was fun but I do notice something is up, It is too bad for there is potential but I guess nobody counts anymore but the almighty dollar and political donors!

"Almighty dollar". When did you believe a casino is ever in business to not make as much profit as possible?

Guess there's a sucker born every minute but imagine how large the crowds would be if they loosened the machines and lowered the odds.

Their (promos) free meals, room, etc., have decreased. They've added the new venues for country music, piano bar, rock and roll . Where did that money come from for construction? Once again --- you - as a consumer - will be paying all those millions of dollars promised to NYS/Cuomo plus their so called "rising profits".

Your loss is their profit.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say but all I know is every year the turning stones profits have gone up.

Exactly, they go up at the expense of their patrons. As people wise up TS needs to find ways to bring in a new crop of losers. The well may not run dry but as they compete for business with an ever expanding field of competitors their profits will diminish unless they offer more chances to win.

Ok. What business doesn't increase profits at the cost of the patrons? That's capitalism. Also who is their "ever expanding field of competitors" currently? I don't see anything moving into that region that competes for entertainment dollars currently.

Some folks are clueless... About the only positive thing in the entire county of Oneida is what the Indians are doing, What makes them the worse winning odds of all casinos ? Fractions of percentages ? Lmao... I look at it this way, if your gambling to win you're going to loose... There isn't 1 single casino in the entire world where the odds are stacked in the gamblers favor NOT 1 !!! They aren't in the buisness of paying out money to everyone that walks through the door... I think you people have some mental disorder that doesn't allow you to comprehend this.. You basically have 5% chance of walking out of a casino with more money than you walked in with, and a 10% chance of breaking even... Those are your odds I'm sorry to say... Now quit crying on topix because you lost your car payment thinking it was your lucky day... Gambling is not a profitable venture period...

Yes, I agree. Now that NYS is getting ready to expand gambling big time, the Oneida's may finally have some serious competition. People will be willing to travel out of the immediate area if they think their chances of winning are a little better and people are always looking for something new.

I truly believe they have a problem understanding this. Just remember it's a region who lives off of government services or government jobs.

By law the slots must pay out a certain amount, but if you think this is how to get rich-I wish you well, the Indians are getting the due they deserve. But, not from me!

They can set the odds to what ever they want. They are not regulated. And the odds are low
