Hey chief - "Dave D" has failed miserably so far at making sure there's always good staff on duty. I am not even complaining about the prices. I am willing to pay good money if I feel that it's going to an honest dealership that stands by their cars. Carbone isn't.

Here's what's up - they are sleazy scum bags. Any salesman at that place would literally run their own mother over to "make the sale". I have seen time and again how they operate, which is why you won't see me buying a car there. They are the most unethical, backdoor dealing, slimy greasy dirtballs I have ever run acrossed
I'm curious ..... how have you "seen it time and again" how they operate if you haven't purchased a vehicle from them?

If it was family or friends making the purchase, did you not warn them?

I know a guy that quit a week after he got hired. Stated they dont service what they sell and gave all the customers the run around. It claimed it to be bad business and left, wanted no part of it.
This guy is as honest as they come. That being said, if word of mouth can be good for business also bad.

no matter where you buy your car in New York State. the tax money goes to where ever (zip code) the car is registered. if you buy a car in Syracuse or Albany and it's register to you here locally, thats where the tax money goes. so buy where ever you want in NY state.

Is "Dominick" still working there? I bought 5 new cars from him during the 90s & early 2000's. I told him what I wanted, how much I was willing to pay for it, and the terms - all without any down payments.

He gave me exactly what I wanted with absolutely no high pressure sales tactics at all. This was one of the main reasons why I would only deal with him.

I heard he was promoted to a Sales Manager as he was their top notch earning salesman year after year (probably with a little help from me - LOL). If he is still there, ask for "Dominick"; you won't be sorry.
He is the best they have... Or should I say had!! I heard he has left the Group and is now a manager at Steet Ponte VW and Mazda...hope to find out if it's true cause if it is I'm there...ive purchased all my vehicles from him... Hes that good at what he does and has always treated me with respect...

Well for starters...upon going to buy a car if you do the research, Carbone on average charges 2k plus more than any one else. You can hit cars.com and search within 100 miles of your zip code and others will sell cheaper.

Carbone's vehicles are way more expensive then in syracuse and albany area. My experience from buying a vehicle from carbone is awful and they dont know how to treat there customers. I tell everyone not to go to them because the service department are lazy, scum and dont do there work.
