They are all cheesy and cheap but the best ones I have found are the hard plastic ones. Do not get the blow up ones, I bought one that had a little slide and palm trees, it was cute but a pain in the ass to keep clean. The plastic one's are easy to clean.

Okay, sorry... here is my input, you must be careful when you start them in the morning... they shake a little. Replace oil every 10 miles, they are very bad on gas, wiring harness might go bad on you as soon as you buy it, lets see what else...... o yeah, steering wheel get loose... there you go, all you need to know about kids pool with slide...

Number 1) a person child or adult can drown in a cup of water.....just so you know a child is never safe around water ... number 2) Why in gods name would you come on this site and truly ask a question of safety.... call your better business Bureau or consumer digest for the info your looking for... You will would hardly ever get good advise on this site!!!!... Now this is good advise.. Take it!!!!!

Don't get a blow up pool. The hard plastic is best. My kids always loved them and you could buy two and put sand in the other because it's usually cheaper than those sand boxes. Just make sure you cover the sand pile from cats. It's very easy to keep the hard pools clean. With a three and four year old, make sure the pool is one of the larger ones so there's room for all their kid toys that have to go in and they can move the boats around. Otherwise they might as well be in the bath tub cuz there'll be no room. Get them some bubbles too so they can blow bubbles and get back in the pool to rinse off. Have fun!

I'm pretty sure I heard something about them being illegal now??? I'm not sure. Anyway, we had one for two summers before "someone" ran the lawnmower over it:) Now we have an inground:) The "pop up pool" that we had was nice. It was twenty feet in diameter and about three and a half feet deep. If you keep up with the chemicals, it stays pretty clean. I put a tub of water in front of the steps so people could rinse their feet before bringing the grass clippings and whatever into the pool. They come with a cover and I put that on it nightly. My little one had alot of fun in there:) We all did!
