Thank you for the feedback. We saw an ortho spine surgeon in Hamilton.(wont mention the name but he was forced out of Utica...I just wanted to see what he had to say). He recommended some Canadian woman neuro in Utica. Dr Griener?? Grenier?? Forgot spelling. But yes, I think we will go to Syracuse for this. Not willing to travel much farther.

Dr Mark Smith and Dr Cliff Soults Both do very good work. They're Dr Grenier's partners. Actually I think Smith only does hospital consults now, he doesn't see out patients. Dr Grenier is good too but she hasn't been in the area very long so I don't know her very well. I didn't have a CS problem, but I did have another neurosurgical problem a few yera ago. Smith did the procedure and Soults assisted. Both were wonderful and I have been pain free ever since.

Don't trust any RN or doctor in any Utica hospital. The RNs are lazy and do what they want to do even if it goes against the patient's medical records or the doctor's orders.

The doctors think they know everything which means they aren't open to learning anything.

And you are clearly a whack job. Yes we all just sit around for most of the day. But when we do provide medical care we just ignore the Dr's orders and doll out whatever care we feel like giving......... Because that wouldn't cost us our licenses, or get us sued for malpractice, or make the health department shut us down or anything. That seems reasonable. What happened? Your Dr thought that he knew more than whatever you read on web MD? How dare he? Clearly you've busted our sinister healthcare plot wide open. You super smarty pants you.

I'm smart enough to never go to Faxton, St. Elizabeth's or Rome Hospital for medical care.

Well sure, because after all Utica is the headquarters for the International Evil Doers Posing As Healthcare Professionals Alliance (I.E.D.P.A.H.P.A. for short). We like to hang out in the break room, eat doughnuts and plot the demise of our patients, that's why we don't have any time to further educate ourselves or provide competent patient care. Very busy......plotting a good evil scheme requires a huge time investment. But you're one of the lucky ones. Now that you're on to us you'll probably live forever.

Best in the area still doesn't mean they are any good. I recommend you get in the car and go to the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. It is a very easy trip. Just get on the thruway and stay on 90 and get off in Cleveland. They have a division that specializes in non surgical treatment of spinal issues. They did a great job on me and I dodged a major surgery. But if you need one, they are one of the best in the country. Just look up CCF.org on the internet for info. They have someone that makes all the arrangements for out of towners. Good Luck

Thank you! We will see what Dr Grenier has to say. If it takes 5 second opinions...then so be it.
