Had dinner this week at Bella Cucina's. And was sadly disappointed.
I must say, that the wait staff was the best I have encountered in a long time.... but thats about all I have to rave about.

I was so disappointed in the quality of the food. It sure did look pretty, but had very little, if any taste to it at all.

Out of the 5 different dishes we had ordered, not one of us would have made a recommendation. Very bland and tasteless.

I was also shocked to learn this upper scale restaurant charged full price for each and every soda refill.

My husband ordered stuffed rigatoni's. He was asked if he would like "meatballs with it". So he ordered it with meatballs.....
He received 10 Stuffed Rigatoni's (SMALL ONES) with ONE meatball.... and we were shocked to see that the ONE meatball was $2.25 EXTRA.

You will also be charged 75 cents extra for a LITTLE Blue cheese dressing (which I understand is common now).

I was just really let down.

I hope it was an "off" night for them, and this isn't the norm......

We used to go to Bella Cucina quite frequently until we realized that we were charged for soda refills. That is unheard of in a business that is more competitive than ever. We had a $22 bar bill which was all for soda for a party of 4.

Will never set foot in that place again. We were treated horribly by staff and management. One of our party could not eat her food, as it was too hot (as in hot peppers, not temp). She did not ask for a replacement, just paid for it and just ate salad and dessert. The waitress was sarcastic and rude! And criticized the (20 percent) tip. Have no idea what the problem was that night. But there are too many great places around her to give it another try.

I hear you. I was outraged when asked what kind of dressing I wanted on my salad and said blue cheese. When we got the bill, you're correct, we were charged extra for it! I wasn't too pleased with this restaurant either and haven't been back since.

Where do you people go out to dinner?? You all must be use to chain resturants. Any fine dining charges for sodas and blue cheese.

Are you Serious? I understand the blue cheese, as I stated, but I have never paid full price per refills on sodas. The cost to the restaurant is so low for refills, as a "Fine Dining" establishment, they should give refills for free.
If that is not the case, and with the Quality of this restaurants food, maybe I would have been better off with a chain..... or McDonalds

When I go out to dinner, I like to patronze the mom and pop places. Bella Cucina is the only place that charges for soda refills as far I I know. I go to Chesterfield, Georgio's, Delmonico's, Sorrento's, PK's, and many others. No charges there.

We went here today for Mother's Day dinner. I have to say the waiter's were excellent, and the food was outstanding. Along with a very clean and eye catching atmosphere. We will definately being going back.

Thats BS, charging for soda refills. If fuckin' Taco Bell and Bk can give them away when dining in then you should get free refills on $20+ meals at Bella Cucina. I went there maybe 2 times and the food was real good the first time but on the 2nd visit when I ordered literally the same dish (Seafood Frutti de mar) which on the 2nd visit was served with almost no fricken seafood I stopped going there. The cheap ass cook took whole scallops and sliced them paper thin. I probably had 2 shrimp and 2 whole scallops when you counted the little slices which is a ripoff for a dish sold for over $20. Every other restaurant that sells that dish including the 1st visit to Bc serves it with 6 or more whole scallops but instead of telling me they were low on the ingredients they figured might as well take the money and piss off a patron. I didnt bitch about the dish or anything I just havent been back since.

What restaurant are you promoting? Bella Cucina is one of the best restaurants around and Chris and Tony are great hosts. I take it that you are most likely a competitor that has lost some of your patrons to this fine dining establishment.

Keep doing the great job that you do Tony and don't be bothered by the negative publicity...LOVE YOUR FOOD

I think that Taco Bell and BK is where you belong. Stay there, and don't insult the fine patrons of Bella Cuccina, who, obviously know more about fine dining than you will ever know.

I love Bella Cuccina because they have the best bathroom to masturbate in and they are cool with iut. There is even a hole behind the towel dispenser and the busboy whacks you off if you tip him a $1. I make my own blue cheese and after our intimate encounter the busboy always brings me free refills!

Their fridge is full of rotted, expired, substandard and decaying food. They should be on that tv show Kitchen Nightmares. I wouldn't eat crackers from that death hole.

I really have to laugh at the comments being made here against Bella Cuccina..especially the last one..Everybody is entitled to their opinion of what restaurants they like..but what is being said on here is going way too far. I've been to that restaurant numerous times and have always been served delicious food. It's excellent. The wait staff is also excellent. And they try to accomodate everyone as best as they can. Get a life to those who have nothing better to do but get on a forum behind a computer name and write things that are far from the truth.
