Drove from home to New York City two weekends ago and stayed in utica on the return trip. Stayed at the radisson. If that's the bet you have to offer I won't be back. Disgusting area surrounding it too.

That is ok. We don't need illiterate people like you hanging around here anyway.

Sorry that I missed you. Loss of jobs have hit our city badly.
I don't think it will ever recover. At one time the Radisson was a grand hotel but not anymore. Our population has gone from 100,000 to 50,000 thousand. The only reason it is that high is because the Refuge Center has supported many people.

So sorry that we could not meet your expectations.

Well English is not my first language as French is. And with that attitude and the way that city looks you won't have to worry about people like me stopping there again. Isn't the point of a hotel and the area around it to attract outsiders and travelers? I was disgusted that a radisson would have put their name on such a pile of rock. Should have driven through to Syracuse.

Can you describe what the Radisson was like? What grossed you out?

I am sorry that the Radison was not acceptable to you. What were its deficiencies? I will bring them to the management. I also apologize to you for the unkind comments on topix. Please ignore any inappropriate responces.
As to downtown, it should be marketed better by local businesses, chamber of commerces, and governments. I work downtown, and have been asked numerous times by tourists walking where to eat or shop, and always send them to the Triangle Cafe' and Mello Subs and Pizza Classic. Great food!
Our downtown was taken care of much better when we had a downtown coordinator, Mr. Dan Trevisani. Please stop in Utica again, we welcome you and hope you have a good experience on you next visit.

I will not kill myself and I certainly will never stay in utica again. Thank you to you for reinforcing my sentiments. You people definitely have issues and problems. And yes to you I am too good for utica.

Well excuse me Mr. Ontario!!!!!!! Now who are you??? and how important is it to the City of Utica that you return here??? hahahahaha...Obviously you are a nobody trying to be somebody and therefore go elsewhere next time really..We won't miss you!! There are plenty of people who like this city and plenty who don't as goes for most cities all over the place. I suggest you truthfully "GET A LIFE" and realize that whether you come back to Utica or not means nothing to anybody here and wouldn't mean anything to any other city that would not fit "YOUR" liking!!! Wow...what a stupid Poster and really odd Canadian..hahahahaha

Why didn't Monsieur 'Yours To Discover' stay there instead? It's better than the Radisson by far!

You got it, Tubbs. That's my base of operations when I come to town. Great rates, close to all major Utica attractions (BenGee's, Peeper's, Denny's, etc.) and very sturdy furniture. But one correction - at the Journey they change the sheets at least every other guest. So no problems there unless you're following a family of boons or something.

Don't pay attention to the Utica Welcoming Committee. They hate anyone who aren't as miserable as they are in their existence. If you get the chance, try Hampton Inn or Best Western in North Utica. Much nicer area, more restaurants to choose from, and you can avoid Utica's finest residents.

Your attitude explains exactly why you live in the stank feces social retard hole you do. It's funny that literacy is your only concern I could load you up with about 8000 major issues your cesspool county has from superficial desperate people to the corrupt disgusting sex perv politicians you keep voting for so really get the fuck over yourself poverty people.
Maybe one day, all the "high class" Utica people will get it and realize people are just humoring them.
"Axe" my ass. You people take yourselves waaaaay too seriously. People have eyes you know.

You sound like quite the Utican loser.

Obviously it is lost on you Utica dolts. You live in a ghost town and are starving and feeding welfare hordes and public servant welfare hordes. You are right where you need to be obviously.

Soeak for yourself since it's so important Mr. Nobody stuck in utica.

Many of us who live in Utica are embarrassed and ashamed to say that we do. Utica is by far one of the most miserable cities around. The funniest thing is, many native Uticans have no idea how miserable they are, and that their city is nothing more than a cesspool. It really is an awful place. Syracuse, by most accounts, is not a remarkable city, but at least it has many things to be proud of. I have family that lives in Toronto, and they enjoy coming to Syracuse because of the shopping and restaurants there. These family members avoid Utica at all costs. The last time they visited, I had to drive to Syracuse to spend time with them. They dislike Utica so much, for obvious reasons, that they are reluctant to set foot in this dump of a city.

Durhamville is a small hamlet that was founded before 1813 and named for Eber Durham.
From the mid-1800s until the early 1900s, Durhamville was home to Erie Canal barge construction and repair. In particular, it was home to an Erie Canal lock which was abandoned when the route of the canal was changed. It was also the location of the Fox & Company glass house which, at the time, was one of the largest glass companies in the nation.[2]

Lol,you have the balls to make fun of Utica. Ok Eber.
