You need to read today's news. Two very hot issues with boilermaker planning for next year are:Why would you dimean someone who runs a 9 mile race. No matter what the size of them (big or thin) they all have a right to run that race. Its not about winning, it's about accomplishing a goal that many many people don't even try. So everyone who says "fat" people shouldnt run, you need to get out of the basement and get outside and try to accomplist something so physical and exhausting.
1. Walkers, aka, tub o lard fatasses who clog the path for the real runners. There is serious talk of not letting them continue to do this. The race has grown far to large to cater to these one day a year walkers who utilize it as a chance to be seen--yuck--and not really run.
Behind all the sniping on this site, there are some bonafide issues. BTW "fat" people don't run, they walk at best and ruin it for the serious runners. They need to be isolated and run their own fat race somewhere else out of sight.
