These two people who are in charge of this dig are RANK NOVICES will little if any experience in conducting an archaeological dig. What are their qualifications? Are they the two make believe ghost hunters? What is the County Historical Society teaming up with unqualified people who are wannabe dirt diggers?

That's the typical MO for the grant gravy train. They find local zeroes and they apply for grants.

That's about the limit of upstate NY's capability. Use idiots to justify a check from the government, call it a big deal and a "success".

If they really thought it through they would realize that novices could actually overlook an important find, or worse mistakenly destroy small fragile objects while they are playing archaeologist. If they want to do it right at little or no cost they should have teamed up with a state college or university and had archaeology students come for a week for hands-on classes.

Now that is funny......"A living man's petrified ding dong found in CNY and carbon dated to pre revolutionary war". "Man identified with DNA found on the floor of Teasers as Richard Cretin-Smith of Utica".
