The Bearded Dolphin, 11th Ward, Tiny's, Top Spin and the CaddyShack. You could hit all five joints and never have to move your car. Tiny's when the Scotts ran it and the food was good, the Dolphin for pool, the Top Spin for darts (the real type), 11th Ward for acoustic music and cheap beer and of course the Caddy Shack for live rock music and it's really strange owner 'Pete the Weasel'.

And for those looking for a quieter or more upscale spot to throw back a few...

The Travelodge on Genesee St.(kind of a strange crowd)
The King & I
The Uptown Grill (was demolished to make room for a Kinney Drugs that never came, what a shame)
The Blue Sage (used to be about where Shorty's is now by Price Chopper)
Trinkaus Manor during the holidays
several places that now is the 69 Steakhouse in Whitesboro (which has a good bar, actually)
Targets and Al E. Gators on Burrstone (now The Chowder House)

I frequented Targets quite often, as well. I'm not familiar with the 69 Steakhouse (though it's a great name). What did it used to be?

Is Allen's something or other the right name? Too long ago...it was a fairly decent bar frequented by a nice mix of the younger crowd and Whitesboro locals. It was empty for several years, then became Knuckleheads for a while until 69 Steakhouse took over. The Steakhouse is a good restaurant in and of itself, along with having a decent bar.
