You don't need a lawyer to make a will. It is perfectly legal to write your own. Have a credible witness sign it and when you sign it, have a notary public witness it. Save some money doing it yourself and don't feed the sharks.

Don't go to the lawyer that used to be on the school board and works out of his house, on genesee street he thinks your money is his!

Any lawyer can make you a will or estate plan for a couple hundred dollars. If you choose to go to the Zumpano's Estate Planning Law Center or Ward or Scaramella they will charge you THOUSANDS for something any other lawyer will do for practically nothing. Estate planning is a scam. They tell you that you need this document and that document or the state will take your money and leave your family penniless. Talk to a lawyer whose practice isn't focused on estate planning to get the best deal.
