cummo should be sued for treason against the constitution and creating a law with out going through the proper channels ,, people need to march on the courts when the judge is about to give his ruling and his opinion,, don't know why Remington workers didn't ?

BTW, a ban against specific guns is not against the Constitution, particularly the 2nd Amendment. Going to be funny when the lawsuit against SAFE is laughed out of court. He went through the proper channels and the NYS Senate voted to pass it.

they are banning the cartridge and that is the arms.. with out the cartridge you cant defend yourself that would be like banning the sword hundreds of years ago .... oh yeah only army's only carried the sword why would the people need a sword when they can use a knife? or the bow and arrow they would ban the bow and arrow and say only army s need an arrow you have a sword that is enough for you to defend yourself you don't need a bow and arrow

Still not unconstitutional. They are banning only SPECIFIC cartridges not ALL cartridges.

What you are trying to refer to as the "equal playing field" (what a fukking joke you moron), is called the EQUAL PROTECTION CLAUSE of the 14th Amendment. And as the dumbshit you are, it still is NOT applicable to this case with the SAFE act because the State of NY is not depriving anyone of any constitutional right, nor life, liberty or property.

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

The most important thing we as a society can do is to put these tyrannical politicians back in their proper place. They have to remember who they work for,and it isn't the goddamn political parties! That being said,they need to make laws that punish CRIMINAL behavior harshly,but leave our constitutional rights alone. We also need to keep guns out of the hands of mentally unstable/incompetent people. Cuomo is weakening our country with his bullshit unSAFE act. Stupid liberal...

If they pass this whats next? You can own a car but cant put gas in it? Cigs but no lighters? Food but no stove? Water but no soap? They already got kicked in the nuts with their "soda ban"....so seriously, whats next? They're trying to repeal the constitution AND gods law, after all he supposedly gave us free will, which means WE have the god given right to make decisions for ourselves, however good or bad they may be.

Why the hell are they trying to take away rights from ppl who abide by the laws? How is that going to stop any further crime from being prevented? I really hate to have to point out that the law abiding citizens aren't the ones they need to be worried about. How about we actually hold criminals responsible for their actions and not let murders back out on the streets with minimum time served? And how about if we have someone who needs mental health care, we actually get them help and not let them wander aimlessly around until they lose it and shoot up any place they think is convenient?

And don't bring up the fact that Lanza's guns were legally owned...yes, they were, by his mother, who wasn't the one who went and shot up the school, so actually, they were "stolen", as most guns are that are used in crimes.

Is there a law about how and where you store your guns? That's really the issue here, not this other bullshit.

The politicians seem to emulating themselves, and ignoring what the consensus of the people is.

They have no right to go against the people.

Telling people they can't buy a drink with sugar.

They have gotten out of hand, stealing money, lining their pockets, handing it away and ignoring the people who they have stolen it from.

I feel sorry for some, but the government has no right to save what country they want, no right to help who they feel needs it.

Giving Israel over 8 million while the people it was stolen from scrimp by.

When was the US made for people to work to save everyone else in the world.

At some point, people must be sick of this.
