the rudest people you would ever want to meet. I will never go there again and suggest no one else. I saw one of the employees litterally yelling at an elderly women to the point where she was crying just because she asked an employee for help. The place should be shut down or renamed the old bithcher mill

I shopped there once and experienced the same thing. The salesperson was just plain rude and snobby. I never went back!

she steals product lines from other stores. she can not come up with her own ideas. way too overpriced and very snotty attitude. There are many other places to shop.
Matter of fact there is a small store in Rome can't remember the name that has cute stuff reasonably priced and very friendly staff. worth the drive. down on Black River blvd near Olney's flowers

This thread is nuts. The store is wonderful and this area is lucky to have it. So many of our independents like Reid Sheldon have packed it in, and the Old Wicker Mill is committed to serving this area with great merchandise, in a time when retailing is a struggle. If you don't like them, don't go there, but for those of us who appreciate the opportunity to shop locally for unique products, we know we're lucky they're here! And by the way, I don't own the place abd don't work there, but I'm a very satisfied customer.

You have got to be kidding? Rude. Rude Rude. She tries to copy every business in the new Hartford shopping center. Very greedy and very mean to her customers. So is her help. Too much stupid junk in there. Why didn't she stick with wicker and that ugly Vera Bradley junk that looks like old my grandmothers quilts. Now she parades her two college graduate BOYS in the commercials. What BOY would want to be surrounded with all that ladies junk?
NO one in the shopping center likes her. She can't even look people in the eye. She'll be gone within a year is my bet. EVIL WOMAN!!!

Again, don't like the place? Stay away. I'm guessing she would appreciate it. Greedy? She's in business to make a profit. Move on - WalMart might be just your cup of tea.

I have been in there many times and never had a problem--everyone has always been very nice.

I wonder if the elderly lady was hard of hearing, and they were speaking loudly to make themselves heard?

The people who work there as well as the owner are very rude. I was in there one time the day after halloween, and she had the little snickers candy left over from halloween FOR SALE for 5 cents each. I spent over !00.00 in the store on what I now will call JUNK, and that slob owner had the nerve to charge me 5 cents for the snickers. NEVER AGAIN
