Reading through these threads, I think you may have me confused with someone else. I've never been in an accident on the Thruway. I can't remember the last funeral I attended. It is true, Mr. Critelli did give me my start in this business. I worked for him, and it was an honor and privilege to do so. I'm proud of what I did there. With that said, what I wanted for myself and what his company wanted of me were in conflict and I resigned. My dad didn't leave me with money. Anyone that knows me, knows that. I struggled for many years, and whatever I have, I earned it myself.
I don't know who the posters are, but if I offended you in anyway;I can assure you that it was unintentional. Whatever hard feelings you have towards me, there isn't anything that I can do about that, and I wish you well. I hope that whatever grudge you have towards me heals itself and we can once again be friends. Joseph Murine
That's the Joe I know.
Apologies

You're always so modest! Work less, live more. AND FINISH YOUR HOUSE..... Just some friendly female advice. ;-)

I've watched this post and I have to comment for the first time. I dated Joe for five years. He was great to me and I wished it could've worked it out. He's funny, loyal, caring, ambitious. Every year, I still get a call from him on my birthday, and for me, that still makes me feel special.

You're a great guy Joe Murine, and I'm glad you were in my life.

Jackhole, here's a fact: you are an ass. Joe has always minded his own business, and all of you posters might want to see a professional about your fixation with him. There is medication available.
I thought that I'd chime in. I haven't spoken to him in years, but I know Joe Murine.
My daughter was paralyzed in an automoblile accident at 11 years old. That accident was a life changer for her and my wife and I.

To cut to the chase. Joe Murine started a recreational group called Winners on Wheels for children that would have to live the rest of their lives in wheelchairs. All the kids in the program were very self-conscience of being in a wheelchair and the boy/girl scouts weren't an option at the time. The kids loved it, and the parents loved it to. If I remember Joe was just married, traveling all over God's green earth, sometimes a little hung over, but he managed to make it every Saturday morning to greet the kids, give them craft projects to do, bring pizzas and pop, and be their friend. He always made them laugh. Especially the kids that just didn't feel like smiling.

We parents always saw Joe as a wonderful guy that took the time out of his life to spend time with kids that were less fortunate in some ways, than able bodied kids. I never did get a chance to thank you Joe. I thought I saw you in church on Mother's Day last week, but wasn't sure. But thank you. Our little girl will be graduating from college this year and I want you to know we still think of you now and again.
