Richard Bach. He is like 90 yrs old and a cocky as*shole. When he was not golfing he was almost screwing up my whole case. He would show up to court with food stains on his trench coat and even showed up late one time. The judge got pissed, I got pissed and he wouldnt listen to me telling me he knows what is best cuz he has been a lawyer for a long time. After the judge yelled at him and almost screwed up my case the Da refused to talk to him anymore and I negotiated my own plea deal. Just wanted money and take any plea deal they give'em. Absolutely worthless
I agree, unfortunately. A good friend of mine had him as a lawyer, and finally got rid of him, once he is paid, he doesn't help, and seems to sway to the other side. Then you have to keep reminding him of what is going on, waste of time and money!!!

Couldn't you have fired his old ass and gotten a lawyer that would work with you? I don't really know this works, was it a criminal case? Civil suit? Comp? Can you fire your attorney at any time or does it have to be within a certain timeframe and if you pass that you are stuck with whoever you started with? Sorry, not trying to sound ignorant on this matter, just haven't ever had the need for legal representation and am curious now.
I have fired two attorneys. If they aren't helping me,I will find one who will. I even reported one to the Bar Association,and got a hearing.

Exactly! And if they don't,report them to the Bar Association. That is taken seriously. Lawyers do not want to be accused of wrongdoing. They don't like it when they have to answer to their peers.

Tom Atkinson will never settle a case. Convinces his clients to take it to .Court with results that don't justify his billable hours. His comments are that he take his cases seriously and goes the extra mile.......untill they run out of money.

Ask the Home Economics teacher at Whitesboro Central School,$100,000 plus later what he is doing for her.

Doesn't make him a bad lawyer, just a crook. Would be interesting to have fellow attorneys give an evaluation.

You hit the target on that one. Once your actually at the court he comes out to "conference" with you about the things you have already talked about in his office. Then he tries to get the other side to pay his bill which would be ok if it worked but when it gets rejected by the judge you have to pay for the paperwork on top of everything else.

Male When the arrests were made this week, the Tuscaloosa News said that according to depositions filed by UA police officers, defensive lineman D.J. Pettway, defensive back Eddie Williams and linebacker Tyler Hayes punched a student in the head and face, and kicked him in the ribs. Williams and Hayes admitted to the attack, according to the Tuscaloosa News. There were two attacks, and The Crimson White said arrest records indicated Williams was the one that knocked both victims unconscious. Those players, along with running back Brent Calloway, were charged, and all of the players were suspended indefinitely by coach Nick Saban.

Jurgens elaborated on what happened in an interview with The Crimson White. He was walking home early Monday morning when he was approached and asked if he had a lighter. He said he didn’t, the man asked him again and he replied the same.

“That’s when I guess something happened,” Jurgens said.“I woke up, my face was swollen, I had cuts, and I had a concussion. Police say that’s probably when they hit me; I just know right after that I lost consciousness and I regained consciousness on the sidewalk, staring at the sky.”

{snip}

“It’s almost like they were doing it for fun, because it seemed weird that they didn’t rob me of my wallet or phone or keys,” Jurgens told The Crimson White.“But, I just know they sure did an efficient job because I can’t recall parts of it even today.”

I feel this is an unfair assessment. As an attorney defending someone for the most part you are only as good as the case you are defending . Frank Policelli is an experienced attorney and a very good trial attorney.Mr. Policelli is not afraid to take on the difficult case and he is a bull dog in the court room. Policelli has won many of these cases both criminal and civil, but he has lost several too because he is willing to take on the difficult mostly un-winnable cases that most attorney 's would not Touch. I have watched him in the court room and I think he is one of the best trial lawyers in the area. Unfortunately there are not many left I have worked in the court system for a number of years and the two best I saw were Kenneth Ray and Paul Shannahan, who have both passed away. Louis Brindisi is excellent in the court room also but only handles civil cases. So the best criminal trial attorney's now are Policelli, Emil Rossi, George Amey and former judge Micael Daley.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Capricorn

If you're feeling lonely and vulnerable, it seems as though someone is out to get you. Perhaps you're separated from the people you love and you don't like it. Try not to mope for too long, because there are important things that need your attention. Speaking of which, if you need to do something that you're dreading, you'll feel much better if you can get it out of the way quickly. If you leave it, the very thought of it will drain your energy.
