Now that that US Army has failed to approve a wetlands Permit its obvious that the Nano Factory fiasco was the biggest deception ever hosted on the gullible people of this area.

Sadly, a family lost their farm that was in their family for a 100 years to the thievery of Eminent Domain. All for nothing.

In addition to the Edge, another key deceiver was the OD. Reading Kris Worrells breathless editorials you would think that 1000s of high paid workers were driving up their Arterial o Marcy from their new and expensive homes in New Hartford.

Meanwhile County Exec Picenti continues to over tax what few hardworking taxpayers that remain, Palmeri is diving Utica to a control board and the New Hartford Friends and Family members continue to look out for each other.

Even if the Army Corps does finally issue a permit after the mitigation issues are settled, there is a key ingredient missing. A manufacturer willing to set up shop in the now locked in footprint submitted with the permit application.

The only money being spent is taxpayer money. There is no private investment. What good does that do us?

Nano Na New. Just more of the same over sold NYS political hype. Spending millions of taxpayer dollars on a pipe dream. While Remington Arms with 2000 good paying jobs is just allowed to walk away to Alabama. How stupid can you really be? Very. Does the OD ever publish the fact that NYS was trying to get Qualcomm to locate in NYS. Qualcomm is one of the larger sub-contractors who makes electronics world wide. They took one look at the highest taxes, workmen's compensation, regulations and said no thank you NYS. So where is Nano going? Nanotech, high speed rails, Adirondack Scenic Railroad and the list of over sold hype just continues to get deeper. But the politicians, bureaucrats, lawyers, teachers, public service employees all still got big grins on their faces. That bronze plaque at the Nano tech entrance with all the politicians/bureaucrats names will look so nice.

Ah what a few well-placed eMails to fellow warfighters and racially-sensitive Asian business associates can accomplish!

Whatever will Elizabeth Cooper and Donna Douchebag say now? Anything but the truth! Maybe the next time you get looked at it would help to curb your racism losers! YOU asked for it, even on your Utica Police Facebook page all it takes is a few links! Moooah!

When did the Corp recently officially deny the permit? I haven't heard anything of the sort. Do u have insider information from the Army Corp confirming that the permit is being denied? Ya mind letting us in your sources instead of posting your b.s. here? Let's have it.

They didn't deny it. They haven't gotten to the decision phase yet. Mitigation plans are still being tweaked and submitted. There was an article on the OD website regarding this yesterday.

In part it said this:
“The Corps of Engineers met with MV EDGE to continue discussions on compensatory stream mitigation for the proposed Marcy project,” said the Corps’ Buffalo Regulatory Branch Chief Diane Koslowski in an emailed statement.“We are working with MV EDGE to obtain a final mitigation plan, which will allow us to proceed to a permit decision. There is no deadline for a permit decision.”

It hasn't been denied but it's not a done deal. When the announcement was made a few months ago that taxpayer funded CNSE(SUNY) was named as end user, all of the usual suspects made it seem as though the wetlands permit was just a formality and would be automatic as a result of that move. They got their headlines and pictures on and in the news but the problem is that it just wasn't true. The move to make CNSE(a taxpayer funded endeavor) the end user is an obvious end run around the process.

If anyone in that region believed there was ever good news coming...well that's why they live there.
