what the hell are you talking about. I played hockry, then coached hockey,.. Now I watch hockey.nothing more, nothing less. Get a life.....<quoted text>
No, you are not me. My life is filled with many varied interests; not dependent on hockey to create some fake euphoria.

You have a pathetic life because your mission is to bash this. Tell me how you have varied interests if you sit home, go on this pathetic site while hiding behind a fake name, and bash an operation.
You lose idiot.

That all says everything about your personality and furthers my point exactly.

Wrong again, one note. I am on topix for maybe 2 minutes in the morning and then leave it to you drones to go on and on about your hockey heroes. LOL

No knowledgeable person doubted pro hockey would see success in utica during year 1.
Utica loves new. Every restaurant, every bar, everything new sees an overflowing of support. It is what happens when that honeymoon ends that separates the successes from the failures.
Utica likes its hockey. Those people are going to show. I wouldn't be surprised if there were 2,000 die hard hockey fans within in a 10 mile radius that sign on for AHL.
So here is the thing. 1,000 season tickets is close to $900k? You are halfway there for year one. It is likely going to take $1.5m to $2.0m in revenue each year to break even. Location to other AHL franchises got them here. To keep them here they are going to have to be viable financially. Otherwise, in 3 years you will hear whispers about another city willing to upgrade their facilities, and/or guarantee revenue, and it will be up to Utica to put up or shut up.
I would like to see 3,000 fans a game in year 3. I'd like to see them driving in on freshly paved roads, parking in a safe lot, and eating and drinking around the corner in newly renovated, locally run establishments. That could happen. But judging from history it is still a long way off.

Awwwwww. Sounds like someone was a nerd growing up and is bitter about having no physical abilities whatsoever. It's ok. With a therapist you may be able to finally lay your demons to rest.
