Notre Dame Closing

Catholic schools ought to pay more attention to the top line instead of the bottom line. Hire the best teachers, and pay them well. Invest in the schools infrastructure, labs, computers libraries and sports fields. Make children want to go there.
It's not just ND, it's most catholic schools are in the same position. The Catholic Church is the wealthiest organizations in the world. The largest real estate holder for sure. They ought to make an investment in the schools across the board, and enrollment numbers will tick up substantially.
As more students enroll the costs will come down per student. Simple math.

As far back at the late 70's, the Catholic church in this area and as a whole, has wanted to get out of the business of education. It is simply not cost effective. I can remember Drobin preaching about it back then because the church he was in at the time was in need of money. He and others thought the money should be channeled to the churches and their programs not schools. This school of thought has become very wide spread and the net result is what you see at ND. Repairs that have been needed for decades and structures that are just let to rot. The writing is on the wall. The Diocese doesn't even want that school anymore and many others just like it. It is time to put an end to what took too many decades to realize. The Catholic church will no longer support education because they do not/will not spend the money on it. They had their master plan worked out years ago. And then there were none...

It's a business folks. Think of the Catholic Church like a business with diff divisions within the big structure. Like ge: aeronautical division, lighting division, turbine division etc... As soon as one of the divisions isn't making money for GE, they restructure, stop putting money into or shut it down. They have already restructured catholic schools, they already stopped pumping money into catholic school, both signs they aren't making money. The next step is a shut down.
Notre dames infrastructure is crumbling and they ain't fixing it. What's that tell you???

If you support ND stay off of this stupid hating thread. You just give all these losers something to talk about. You see all the other threads have died down because the same group of losers get tired of being the only ones commenting. For the record ND is separating from the diocese and has 80 percent of the money's needed for the new building and fields. Soon you will see soon.

The situation as it stands now attracts primarily bottom feeders. Those parents that are self-serving and are there so that their children have sports advantages that they are not talented enough to have in public schools. Prime examples are Marty Flynt, Andy Manolescu(who could forget that hotheaded explosive loser and his horrible son and wife) the Kalils etc etc. When a school has sunk that low, it's past time to close.

Andy was not only a hothead, but a big boozer as well who stank up every room he was ever in with the smell of gut rot--comes from a long line of them and his son is following in his footsteps. True trash who was there to promote mediocrity and entitlement because they paid tuition. They gave Catholic education a bad name all by themselves.

I can see from your post that you are definitely ND material. Sr. Anna will be impressed with your written expression, spelling, and willingness to contribute. Don't keep her waiting, give her a call now. She will be thrilled.

Get a life! I went to ND and can 100% say that the benefit is the 40 graduates!!!!! Closer friends, better learning enviroment and better overall experience for the student. You know that's who it's about right??? It's not about you as a parent! Sick of the emails???? I have a fix for you....send your kids to Proctor with the on staff police officers and metal detectors! Sounds like ND wouldn't want your kids anyway....whiners!

Well if that wasn't a 'ringing endorsement' for the immaturity and self-obsession CNY is known for!

Look at the results. When it came to quality of marketable education and world-class results, Notre Dame and all those schools up there were "closed".

Nd is the same as we were at rch. Enrollment kept dropping. The administration keeps telling us to hang in there we are committed to this school. Pay a bit more its worth it for your kids. Next thing you know in the middle of the school year they tell us the school is closing and all the money is gone. This is exactly what's happening at ND. The nd principal begged us to send our kids to nd. Promise is so much better. Well she's a liar just like rch lied to us. I'm sure the rumors are true. The place will close .

I dont think the school is closing. I will admit that the school needs a new principal. I dont like the size of Proctor and the charter school is a possibility for us. Its still a bit new for me. Probably give ND another year to see how they do

The RCH principal was just as corrupt as the ND principal. For sure ND principal will bleed that school of every penny. She took over a thriving school and has run it into the ground.

Ditto for Judy Hauck. She was just as corrupt, incompetent, and very much a liar. Favors were paid out to her friends in jobs, raises, tuition cuts. She was a total loser and pathetic excuse of a human being. Glad she's gone. Pity the Good News Foundation where she is holed up now.

If im not mistaken Judy hauck is a former nun as well. These former nuns are social misfits. They have no social skills and are very mean to children. Similar to anna mae at ND, they are bullies. ND needs to clean house if it is to have any hope

She was not a nun--only has the temperament of one--she's divorced --her maiden name was Krukar and she was from Holy Trinity Church--she's been divorced for multiple years and has two grown daughters.
