Savoy is good but too long of a wait, noone in the place and a half hour wait for food. The old Plaza called Vigneto is very good. Tony's on Thomas St is great price and best pizza. Mazzaferro's Deli is great, lots of choices where you can come get what you want and leave to eat back at the office. Rome has very good places, not as good as Utica but there is good food there. They are missing some Karams, Symeons and Massouds... They have zero Mediterranean food, they need that there!
Maybe if they actually had a significant "mediterranean" population and market they would, but utica already has that locked down, so no need or demand in Rome. However, the best Italian places in Rome are better than Utica's, they just have fewer of them. Makes sense, considering Rome has 30k less people, thankfully. Hell, even the McD's and Burger King in Rome ARE better than utica. Sorry... Hey, no loss though, as I hear utica has smokin bosnian holes in the wall.
