Tell me what you think . The bill is going to be up for discussion next week. Do you think it will pass ? Will it do more good than bad? Will it cripple the economy ? Or make more jobs and bring revenue to this area?

I have listened to both sides and must say they BOTH have good points. With that said, I say just leagleize it. I wont go into why I think that because I cant type that long but lets just do it and get it over with. Lesser of the 2 evils.

As someone who used to be addicted to marijuana, I can say from experience that pot is a dangerous drug and it would be foolish to legalize it. Marijuana use can cause anxiety, paranoia, psychosis and depression in users. Longterm abuse leads to apathy, mental illness, poor performance in school and athletics, joblessness, relationship problems, lower intellectual and emotional IQ, disrespect for authority and problems with the law...and also weight gain and lung cancer. My high school years were ruined by marijuana. Pot set me back in life and it took years to catch up to where I should have been if I had never abused the drug. Personally, I am offended by the national movement to legalize marijuana and I am even more offended by all of the non-scientific rhetoric that gets thrown around by people with no authority to speak on the subject about how harmless marijuana is and how beneficial it would be for society if it became legal. I am sure if you ask any of my high school friends who had their adolescent years obliterated by the deadly destructiveness of THC, you will hear a completely different story than the one being pushed by the liberal media talking heads and their cohorts of idiot followers.
I had similar experience however I was always able to quit when I noticed the symptoms you described above. Did you replace that addiction with something else?

I have been addicted to pot, booze, coke, crack, and meth and I ended up just fine.
