If it wasn't for you fuccedup fathers half of the mothers wouldn't be raising your kids on their own. But when you men say your a single father raising your child alone because the mother left so don't expect us to feel bad for you because majority of the women do it alone and rather do it alone than put up with your guys bullshyt

My favorite is the " I'm a single mom" sayers who dump their kid or kids off at the grandparents or other relatives house all the time and take fathers to court every year because they know they got a raise in pay..The ones who say they do this and do that for the kid or kids but it usually all talk to make themselves look all grown up and stuff.. I get a kick out of this one I work with she goes on and on all the time how she doesn't have money to her kids when I hear her on the phone with them. But she smokes 2 packs of cigarettes a day.. What are cigarettes a pack $10.00 ? Roughly ? So theres 140 dollars a week... The best is I can't bring you there I don't have enough gas in the car, but they got their SMOKES....Ridiculous..I get instantly turned off when I hear woman say " I'm a single mom" mostly because it entails being an excuse for something or a reason why they can't do things when ultimately its usually their lifestyle that is the reason.

A Hero is a Man.

A Heroine is a Woman.

Thus, a single mom can never be a hero.

what other term would you use to call a mother that's by herself raising her child? I had some man trying to hit in me the other day saying he was a single father. So am I suppose to feel bad for him? The mother probably was a slut and left for another man leaving her kid behind. Men do it all the tome.Big deal. I laughed at him and said and..... Most women do.

Thanks for proving my point that child support is nothing more than an entitlement check requiring no accountability. The measly total of $700 that you downplay is costing someone else nearly $1,000 a month with taxes. Could you afford to hand someone a check for $1,000 a month and afford all your other household bills? Instead, it's mothers like you who justify getting their nails done and could care less if dad has to work overtime and can't see his kids just to hand you that check every month. When he does see them, he's cash strapped and doesn't have extra to spend.
You will never know what it's like to not bare children. Instead, some of you are using your precious children as cash machines. There is nothing heroine about that. Stop coming in my shop and telling me this stuff. Too many of you are sick and demented with your self justification!
They have it made, huge tax returns, grants for college free medical name it single mothers get it ALL. Single mothers and bar maids need I say more.

Single mothers always have their hands out. If you can't afford kids then why did you have them. And don't complain your husband left you and you were a stay at home mom. Get off your lazy ass and get a job. He probably left you because you woulfnt contribute financially. Every morning I drive to work seeing all these mothers in their pajamas putting their kids on the school bus so they can go inside and smoke cigarets and lay on the couch all day. Losers.

isn't a competition with your ex. See, that tells me where your mindset is. This is about your kids competing with mine in the future job market. Being a single mother is the biggest cause of poverty in the U.S. The median two parent income is $80k per year and the average single mom earns less than $30k. I anticipate a whine about poor kids doing well but anyone who has worked in poor schools knows that's nonsense. You can't afford a descent house in a healthy neighborhood and descent schools on $30k. Your kid will have to be the exception to get a scholarship. Being a single mom puts an extra burden on the kid to somehow have more maturity than their peers (and usually their parents).

Not impressed.

When I was a single mom it was a hell of alot easier then being a married mother!! More people to take care of one being a grown adult!! My days as a single mom were beautiful and easy and no I never had assistance I did it all on my own and yes I got support financially from the dad which every penny went into savings for college! Never played the single mother card EVER!

My intent is not to criticize but understand. Why would you have four children with a drunk? That is a large span of time not to see his obvious character flaws. I waited five years (after I got married) to have kids because I wanted to be damn sure that this man was worthy of me having his children and also until we could afford it. It's not called bragging, it's called birth control.

It means your a slut and couldn't keep your legs closed so now those of us that got married and THEN had kids have to support your ass. Oh but my husband left me! Lose the extra hundred pounds, put out and shut up and maybe the girl he works with wouldn't have been what he decided to do Saturday night. Single mom = baggage and 9 times out of 10, nuts. Nobody's impressed that you didnt think to use protection or couldn't keep a man. What do men think of single moms? Well she fks but nobody wants a ready made family or damaged goods. Your kids half black? Multiply that times one thousand.

I was a single dad and a custodial parent when my daughter was 8 years old. Her mom choose to be with a drunk. They moved to Florida after I gained custody here and her mom never attempted to see her until our daughter was 11 years old. She finally left the drunk when she was 14 after he became a crack addict in Florida. When the mom came back here our daughter still choose to live with me. Our daughter and her mom don't get along very well and daughter hold resentment over her moms choice! So does that make me a hero dad? No just a good dad who looked out for the better interest of his child. She is now 22 years old and making something of her life.
exactly as you're supposed to-do, single or not and you get much respect from me for that. Yes, it's hard and challenging, but that's what you're supposed to do and it comes with responsible parenting either way. Good job. Proof that single fathers are and can be just as good if not better parents than the women as single mother's, since the courts in this state still tend to see fit to give custody to a mother over a father even when it's proven clearly that the mother's is a P.O.S douchebag! Good job! Glad and surprised you got the kid after all. You should take full credit.

Well said! I do wonder what the stats are for kids of a single dad... The numbers you speak of here are also somewhat skewed based up in the inclusion of minority demographics in/for the minority populations of America. While it's a problem throughout all categories, single motherhood is epidemic among blacks and Hispanics including white women who breed with men of this demographic , thus making your factual statement a greater reality for these women and children on the whole. Hence, you see it play out all over in a big way. These women need to stop irresponsibly putting out the poon and/or looking for love with the men in these populations who, with select exceptions, are going to Fuck and run and NEVER daddy up. Hell , even half the white men today are fags, metrosexuals, wimps and whussies, gangstas wannabe losers and or narcissistic momma's boys not capable of responsible fatherhood, but WOMEN of ANY race or background TODAY KNOW THE STATISTICALLY verifiable probability that bedding and breeding with Hispanic or worse, black men, will result in dysfunctionally single motherhood, welfare and underachieving kids! Nithing about this statement is racist, but is academic fact!

They see me get up every day and work 50 plus hours a week to pay the bills, provide food and a roof over there head, and giving them all the things every child wants. I bust my ass with no help from the sperm donor. I get a whooping 55 dollars a week in child support for 4 children. Sperm donor too busy making babies all over the county to worry about any child. All about himself. I don't need nor want praise from any one. But yes I am a single mother and a damn good one at that. Why don't we start a post here about the sperm donors who think that paying their obligated child support is enough. It's a crock. A judge can make a "father" financially support their children but can't make them take their kids and spend time with them.
Knocked up 4 times and having a hard time making ends meet? Child, please. No one told you to keep tossing your legs in the air.
