Ok I don't wish this woman bad at all. But come on.. The media acts like she is so courageous and amazing because of her bone marrow transplant. Ok. Lets get over it. Thousands of people have way worse forms of cancer and die slow painful deaths without becoming a cult celebrity because of it.

Why is it that everything you write is cruel? You must be missing something in your life that makes you concentrate on hurting others. I feel sorry for you.

Did you ever think that person had a loved one who died due to not having the advantages of Ms. Roberts. I could understand if that were the case.

People will watch a show with Robyn Roberts. People won't watch a show about joe blow and his/her cancer struggle.

It would be nice if most people had the resources she had to fight the cancer.

Sad, you have no clue. Would you like to hear a first hand story of a failed Marrow Transplant ?

Her greatest resource was her sister who was willing to help save her life. To me that is a love story, which Saggy is too dense to appreciate.

I think Saggy was speaking up for the people that don't get the love and support at the level Ms.Roberts received. I'm sure she had the financial resources to fight as well. Most people do not get employer support, let alone having their story put into the National spotlight. No one is putting down Robin.

Bone Marrow Transplants are one in a million. So due to the rareity the standards thay have to lower them often. And they don't usually have a chance if the have to.

Think of how hard it is going to be for all the mixed kids these days.

everyone should be a donor. I am, wasn't gunna do it cuz I dont have alot of "free time" for the recoop but was driving out in the middle of nowhere one night and the thought of my neice came to mind, had tears in my eyes thinking that my time constraints were why I was gunna say no to what may have been someone elses world, 8 am I was on the phone telling them I wanted to do it. They don't just need marrow, sometimes just the packed red cells are enough. They said they wouldn't use my marrow because I have herniated discs and that would be alot more pain, I told the woman on the phone dont you dare take me off the marrow list because of that, pain goes away when maybe it's all someone would need to get better. The odds are so rediculous that I'll actually be a match that if I ever am, they can have whatever they need.

I didnt end up being a close enough match but I still feel the same and wouldn't hesitate. You don't have to sign up to be a full marrow donor, you can agree to only what your comfortable with, the website has alot of info on it and it only took maybe 2 mins to fill out the paperwork and I think they took a drop of blood from my finger. If you're ever a match, it truly would be the greatest thing you could do for another person.

nope, thats a $2500 fine to me,$11,000 to my company and I'd be out of a job. I got a pretty sweet set up here, not willing to risk it for a text, I do use bluetooth when driving, after getting the one I have now I can't even use my phone for a call without it.

Btw, I think we're close enough now that I can confess I'm not a dude either lol
