Ok. So, if Whitestown Post does the right thing; will NH Post follow suit and do likewise?

For what it is worth, here is what happened. Stop the nonsense already.

The NH left fielder was getting harassed by wtown fans sitting along the third base line. He knew something was up. He told teammates in the dugout that the fans were "getting stupid." I know the gist of what was said. Regardless of the details, I am inclined to side with the teen over a mob of opposing team fans, mostly adults whom you would think, should know better. Whatever. In the end, those parents, or fans, seemingly passed along the confrontation to wtown players.

Prior to the start of the final half inning wtown was warming up in the field. The players got a view of the NH left fielder warming up in the batters box to lead off the inning. After the throw down to second the fielder walked the ball all the way in from second, across the whole field, to the plate, where he leaned in and whispered something to the catcher. Anyone paying attention knew then that something was up.

A couple of pitches in, the batter bunts a ball fowl. The catcher walks over and stands over the bat forcing the batter to bend down and reach between the catchers legs to pick it up. The batter bumps him in the process. On cue, the catcher dug in and shoved the batter with two hands. The umpire promptly ejected him. The pitcher then runs in and punches the batter in the head while he was looking the other way.

The wtown bench cleared. Maybe two NH kids run out. One of them might way 130 pounds soaking wet. After the fight began more NH kids filed out into the mix.

During this time wtown coaches stood in front of others with their arms outstretched seemingly preventing intervention. Some took that to say, "stand back and just let them handle it." This is certainly subject to opinion, but it looked bad. They were getting beaten soundly 8-1, and then all of a sudden they had 9 players in the field, their bench cleared, and maybe 4-5 NH kids getting double-triple teamed.

All in all it is an embarrassment to everyone involved.

End this post . You will never ever convince people from Whitesboro that the two Stewart kids were wrong. Their losing 8 to 0 and the catcher gets up and pushed Desins .Ump throws out Stewart and it should be over right than. But the brother runs in from the pitching mound and throws a wild cheap shot punch at Desins that nobody can dispute as the boro kids pile on. The boro parents choose to focus on Desins father getting kids off his son. The same Stewart kid seen in the video kicking someone with schin guards on. Its not OK for Mr Desins grab and stop kids but its OK for the bald headed big mouth yelling all game to be the first parent on field grabbing NH kids. Agree to disagree for all the innocent parents and kids being hurt here. End it now!!!

If history is any indicator, none of the kids in the sports teams up there will amount to anything but a correction officer. I can't think of a SINGLE person from the area who really did anything with their lives playing with balls and following a bunch of failed "sports guy's" life-lesson advice. Look at the petty values these people instill in their kids in pursuit of a nylon trophy plated with "gold shiny stuff".

I think they should make cny a potato farm because that's the main export from the look of it. God people, talk about ASKING for failure and conflict in your kid's life.

As you can see, the more they spend gackin' on their supposed "sports careers" the less prepared they are with anything else. Probably a school janitor.

Obvious narcissist. You never offer anything positive to the discourse. All you ever do is to bash this community. Why don't you just open up in your therapy sessions and attempt to improve on your own shortcomings; as you exhibit many issues needing attention. We potato farmers will handle everything here wthout help from you elitists:)

Anyway that's what happened. It was a joke. NH will play in the states and should.

After reading nearly 80 posts in this thread, I am convinced that your post is most likely out of all the others to be a reasonable and accurate account of what actually happened that day.

Based on your telling, it appears this was not a bright moment in Whitesboro Legion Baseball; pity.

You are incorrect. You have a motive, or You are just lying to stir the pot.

The fielder NEVER walked the ball to home plate, never whispered in the catcher's ear. That is false.

The truth is, on the throw down from the catcher to second base, the 2nd baseman flipped the ball to the shortstop, who tossed the ball to the first baseman, who met the rest of the infielders on the mound, including the catcher, for 3 seconds, total.

Stop the lies. Stop hiding behind your cell phone.

If you don't have a job, wife, family or life, then find something else to do. You obviously have some brains, use them for positive things, NOT LIES about teenagers.

This incident happened because 4 drunk whitestown parents got cody stewart all revved up before he went in to pitch. This was after they harassed the crap out of Matt Desins in left field for telling his mother when his next game was IF they won this game.

There are at least 4 videos of this entire incident out there. The UPD has most if not all of them. One of the videos clearly shows what I have stated above as regards the pre-inning warmup. It also clearly shows Whitestown's "MR. SCHMIDT" yelling at the field umpire from the bleachers behind the third base dugout AND the home plate umpire ejecting the man sitting next to him by mistake!

I have given a full statement to the UPD and will be VERY happy to testify when it comes judgment time for the 4 DRUNK Whitestown parents, including Mr. Clean, the big bald idiot and his three buddies who were drinking alcohol behind the black ford f-150 truck in the parking lot ALL AFTERNOON.
