Whoever started this thread obviously has some grudge.
Open your eyes! A person who is generally rude will even find people they're polite to. Just because he hasn't been rude to you doesn't mean everybody else is lying.

So am I to believe that this "generally rude" guy and his staff always change their attitude to nice when they see me coming in the door? I don't think so. I believe that politeness to the customers is the norm and maybe, just maybe, there are a few people, such as yourself, that they choose to be rude to in order to send the message that they would rather not have certain people frequent their establishment. Businesses usually do this to the overly demanding and rude customers that cause more trouble than they are worth whenever they come in.

Rosarios' food has always been great and its always the cleanest pizzeria I know. The owner obviously cares about the neighborhood and his customers to keep the place as presentable, inside and out, as it is. As far as the prices go, one has to keep in mind that food costs have been on a steady, steep incline over the past several years.(I read that the cost of flour has risen almost 40% in 2008.) Its not easy being a businessman in this economy, let alone in Utica, NY. The man still has to provide for his family and maintain his business. If one feels that the prices are too high or the service too "rude," he or she should simply endorse a different restaurant. Its as easy as that. It amazes me that so many people are willing to slander a reputable, successful business, and potentially harm a man's reputation. My advice would be to grow up and stop being so sensitive. There is more to this world than your hurt ego.

I got 2 tasteless slices from Rosarios...needed a blue cheese....$6

Italian Chef, 2 slices, no blue cheese,$3.80 something. Come on....I will say, Rosarios has some great pasta.....stay away from the pizza, you'll be disappointed.

Simply put...Rosario's makes shitty pan pizza...and the guy is a crook...he's an asshole with a great location that doesn't appreciate shit...just like Dom at Parkway...and if these kids that both Pizzeria's (one more than the other) shun away and give shit to stop walking/driving there on their lunch they'd both be out of business...Proctor's students have but every Grande in New York through college and even given a few low-life scumbags the opportunity to open their own piece of shit pizzeria and put that Grande name on it only to keep pumping the same shitty food with the same shitty attitude...

Went to IC in NH when it opened. The pizza was made from cooler dough because it tasted fermented. I will never go there again for pizza. Might try the wings however.

Why must you use such foul language? I am sure that the fine people who participate in these discussions do not appreciate your unintelligent banter. Can you please refrain from being so crude, and try using proper english?

Also, can you clarify what you mean by:

...and if these kids that both Pizzeria's (one more than the other) shun away and give shit to stop walking/driving there on their lunch they'd both be out of business...

Best Regards,

I'm nothing like what you're assuming, but nice try. In fact, I'm not one on here who has been bashing Rosario's. I'm just one who can think outside the box and have seen respectful people get treated differently by the same person.

I totally agree, Rosario's has a great location. His attitude sucks and HE Don't treat all the same. If you have $$ or clout Rocco will meet and greet. If you are common folk forget it. His prices are high, his food Ok. I go there for convince and Cleanliness. I prefer Parkways Pizza but don't look to clean in there

thats right nay sayers u say it. are they jealous because he worked his ass off to get that business going? He wants more for his family then he had growing up? Is he rude to people maybe, but not intentionally. He worked hard for everything he has and is still working. But what sucks for him is that everybody thinks Rocco owes them. Like they deserve a break--go to Mcdonalds for ur break. Stop bad mouthing the hard working guy and go after corparte america who are stealing, making millions and getting million dollar bonuses. Oh yeah, thank you AIG for taking 173 million dollars and misappraioting the funds.

Yes, yes, yes...we are jealous, that's it...How about we are tired of being ripped off? If you want to charge $8 for a steak and cheese sub, put that as the price on your daily special or menu. No problem, we know the price up front. Don't put $5.99 and then tell us, oh it's $2 for cheese when we question how we get to $8. Everytime I was going there, prices were higher. And it has nothing to do with the recent economy or cost of flour bs. Eveytime I went in there I would pick up a new menu. Then order something and found they charged alot more when It was time to pay. East Utican was right on about Rocco. I have had dealing with him thru an organization I belong to. He was all gung ho to join, be involved because there was something in it for him. Gave npothing to the organization and disappeared.

Only you would credit yourself for working so hard and tell others to go to McDonald's. You're showing your true colors. I haven't been to your place in years and now I'll never go back. You don't need me anyways. I'm only one customer. I can go to McDonald's like you said.

Rocco has a bad attitude instead of being nice to his customers that bring him $$ hes rude and condesending. He charges way too mmuch for his nasty pizza. And he over kills everything else like soups and chili with celery, Have you noticed? HAve a bowl of soup there he uses celery as a filler. this guy is shop is also expensive. Hey can anyone tell me if Rocco has given his loyal customers a free drink ever? or maybe thrown something in on a BIG order? I am just curious.

I've gone there a million times...grew up down the street. He was always nice to kids - even used to give free pizza to the kids in the projects sometimes. Prefer parkway though.
