last year they wanted 18 dollars per 8 inch pumpkin pie---this year I'll bet it's even higher. Better to make your own or go without. don't pay that thief.

That is a lot to pay for a pie.

Or you could go to the grocery store and get one of those "ahem "$5.00 delicious pumpkin pies!
Remember:YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!
Price Chopper has a bakery on premises; best pies ever; and not expensive.
Holland Farms is a rip off. Their teeny-bopper clerks spend more time avoiding waiting on customers and don't know how to deal with the public.
Baked goods are half frozen when you get them home; prices are sky-high.

Good morning, Marolyn. Bug up yer zzz, hon? You are a bandit and a scoundrel. The only thing anyone gets from you is ripped off. Your pies are frozen and baked in July in Syracuse. People are triple charged--they don't get what they pay for--they are robbed--this town sees you coming, you and your big-bottom dupa

I've never had trouble with the teeney-boppers that work there
I walk in
Smile, say-Good Morning
They say Good Morning back
I tell them what I want
They put in a bag or box(depending on how much I purchased that day)
I pay for said Items
They say-Thank You
I walk out the Door
Simple
You are too lazy to make your own and you'd rather be ripped off than put in any effort for your family. That says it all toots. My condolences to the family--and the slop they will eat--served up by you and purchased from a garbage scow.

I wonder how many rat hairs the health department allows Marolyn wilson to have per spoonful of her dreadful pumpkin pie, frozen a year ago and made by some greasy slob out of town? LOL Eat hardy and enjoy.

First of all who in this day and age uses the word "TOOTS"?
When I go into Holland Farms or any store for that matter I treat the clerk with respect and I get respect back.
I maybe old enough to be their Father (Yes, I'm a guy there TOOTS!), but I remember what it was like to be that age and working for minimum wage.
Bottem line. If you don't like it there. Don't go there!
Yo, sap. Stop changing the subject. The pies suck and are rip off prices. If you want to throw away your bucks or more likely, foodstamps, ain't nobody gonna stop you, daddie-o. The counter help is not the issue-except with you. Switch and bait doesn't work here.
Go throw your hot air Marilyn's way--she'll be glad to listen, for a price that is.

Let's be serious for a minute. Now I go to Holland Farms occassionally, and their prices are high...(Half moons are $1.35) but $18 for an 8" pumpkin pie???? People....anybody....is this on the level?? I would definitely go to any of local supermarkets for a week-old pie for 8, maybe even 10 bucks if I was in a jam. But $18?????????? for a lousy pumpkin pie????
NO F-ING WAY. NO MATTER HOW PRESSED I AM OR EVEN IF 10 EXTRA PEOPLE CAME FOR DINNER. This CAN'T be true!!!

Happy thanksgiving, pops. Can someone meet you in the ER after you eat your pies or are you completely alone? Maybe Ms. Wilson will stop by---if you pay her.

It has nothing to do with pies and everything to do with people who need to complain about every little thing.
You don't like it there, Dont go there.
Oh, and. have a nice Thanksgiving!
Dude, it has everything to do with pies and merchants who are thieves. Read the posts, fool.
No one is complaining about every LITTLE thing. Outrageously high prices should be a concern and should be discussed and if you don't like it, stay off of this thread. You're pathetic.

Reread what you wrote. Your post makes no sense. The botulism from the pies must be affecting your brain.

Or maybe it's the Utica Club that makes you incomprehensible. Been tossing a few too many back?

An $18 pie isn't such a little thing. If you've got money to burn, well good for you. The rest of the working population doesn't, so go squander your money where you will, but don't tell us not to complain about highway robbery.
