How do you figure his days are numbered? His contract extension was just put before the BOE way sooner than necessary and he is extended through June 2016. It's all who you know and who has what on who in NH. I don't see him going anywhere, unless someone puts info out on him and risks themselves going down. No one will take that risk. Nole has the goods on the AD, but can't use it because the AD has stuff on Nole. Therefore, no changes will be made unless they choose to take a job elsewhere all on their own.

He's going nowhere until after June 2016, bc the School Board just railroaded a 4-3 vote to give him a contract extension to that date. The contract extension was initiated and approved strictly at the Board's discretion. There was no contractual or other legal obligation for Board to do anything at this point in time with Nole's contract. The vote to extend the contract:

4 ayes: Stephens; Luker; Philipson; Soggs
3 nays: Flemma; Jadhon; Piotrowski

The PUBLIC reasons given for the decision to extend the contract, given by the Board members who voted aye, and only after much prodding by Mr. Flemma:
1. Because he's done an outstanding job, and it's a vote of confidence
2. Continuity in the District is needed, bc Assistant Superintendent
is retiring.

Keep in mind that if the Board had done nothing, Nole's existing contract would have remained intact until June 2015, 1 year and 3 months from now, plenty of continuity to bring in a new Asst Superintendent and train them, so the 2nd reason is not valid.

We still can use the only tools that we have left to salvage this absurd turn of events. Luker's and Stephens' seats are up for vote on May 20. Letís vote in some people who understand that they will sit on the Board to serve the interests of their constituents, and not the interests of Bob Nole.

As I write this, 109 people have voted 'NO' here to the question "Should Nole remain as Superintendent". If those same 109 would find their way to the voting booth on May 20, and bring a few like minded voters with them, that would make a difference by:
1. Removing these 2 Board members who clearly do not have their constituents in mind.
2. Voting in 2 Board members with the sack to can Nole.
3. Of course, they'll have to wait until June 2016 to complete the task.

How can he mentor anyone when he never has taught a single lesson? Why did the NH BOE not advertise for the Assistant Superintendent and promote their only building principal without tenure? That is the real question.

Business official? Isn't that what Mrs Mandel is? She's followed him to every school district. So if he goes somewhere else to be superintendent, she'll most likely follow along to be his business office manager. Although she has it pretty good in NH. Hell, they all do.

THey did not advertise for the position and just picked him. They did the same with the assistant superintendent position. It's a friends and family plan through Holland Patent. More to come soon.
