Who are you taking about? The 3 in question that should have made th team have good grades! One of them I know is on high honor roll

No matter how good a kid is, they are useless to a team when they can't behave and do their school work. This causes them to become ineligible and has devastating effects on the team. It is always better to take the less talented kids who can remain eligible and work with them.

I was asked to call AD director when I picked my son up from practice last night. It will probably fall on deaf ears

NO ONE like the old man coach, hes washed up and tired, he thinks he can pull the "strings" of the kids if he didnt like you no matter how good you were he didnt pick u..... and befor you even say Im just mad because my son didnt make it....YOU could be more wrong, he is OUT of wbor and has been a 6 yrs now but he never went out for the team because he didnt like the old fart.... football was fair (V) anyway, at least shone told them there are so many kids going out there is a chance they wont see anytime until they can prove themselves yet evey year people bitch about him and the program...as for baseball marcy deerfeild was the same way as was BUD from the FALCONS

You are an idiot! Kids on the team were at tryouts and told their parents certain kids that made the team missed almost every fly ball and struck out swinging at a wiffle ball!! I'm sorry, who sucks????
How many homeruns did that kid hit last year? Oh wait how many Times did he even hit the ball
Coaches were not fair and have not been fair in the past. Need independent evaluators so there would not be favoritism and whitesboro would end up with a decent team!

It breaks my heart. I k ow these boys and my son is friends with them, I have seen them play and have always excelled. Coach is too worried about his whitestown ties half the parents didn't even go to whitestown that live there now so why does he feel the need to show favoritism? About half the kids shouldn't have even made it especially those who can't catch a ball

It should be the AD who oversees this. The board should be concerned but most have gotten where they are due to nepotism so they probably don't know any better. People forget these are kids and it is disgusting these people get to deal with them! How can a coach be a teacher and show favoritism? What are they teaching these kids? Where is the work ethics to work hard and do good when all you have to do is know someone

Very true, but if you complain, your kid will suffer! We all know that.
What is sad is that a lot of these kids are friends and don't even pay attention to where any of them live. Why the coach has a problem with MD kids? Maybe he got picked on by one them or hasn't gotten over losing a game to them when he was in little league.
It seems this happens from modified up, so it seems this falls on the AD - who doesn't seem to care about any of it! how can these people be in education, when they don't care about kids in general and benefiting all kids? You have equal opportunity employers, how about equal opportunity schools? Why can schools and school officials be allowed to violate the human rights act?

Wow. A school this size, supported by 2 Little League programs that always seem to finish number one and two in the distrct just can't seem to put together a highly performing school team. Wake up W'boro tax payers. It's time to join forces and stand up for your rights at a school board meeting. Let me guess......more W'town kids made the team than did MD kids? How could that possibly happen? Last time I checked people who live in MD pay taxes too. Three very strong kids from MD didn't make the team and we all know why. If it was my kid, I'd be there.

Hopefully we'll find out. Maybe if more parents of the players showed support to those that should have made the team things would be different. We should have a meeting about this. Parents of those who didn't make the team can't complain, bc it will blown off as a parent upset their kid didn't get picked not paying attention to the fact that we lost some serious talent!!

Nobody that got cut is a superstar, just average players. Parents have a hard time accepting the fact their son is average

You are all parents who are teaching your kids to be cry-babies. Grow up, help your kids grow up.

Last I new MOST of the Wboro kids were AVERAGE players! But when the ones that are not even close to Average make the team, there is a problem. When the ones complaining weren't even the parents, I think that says something right there.

Screw Baseball...my son didn't make the baseball team in high school and was a very good player. Was he devastated at the time? Very much so!!! We put a golf club in his hands ....he made the team...became a standout and now plays on a college team (and having the time of his life)

I know how you feel & baseball coaches can be neurotic too....count your blessings and move on.
Put a golf club in his hands!
