Yes the name was Toti's...and I remember Namer very well, he passed away quite young...and drove a motorcycle, also a black/white buick, I believe, with huge dice hanging in front of the windshield.

The chesterfield started on Gilbert St and was run by the Grimaldi family (not the same family that ran the Bleecker St Grimaldis. It later opened as Frankie Carrs and is now home to the SAC club and Labella's surveying.

I remember ice skating at Mary Street park, Regal rest (Bleeker & Jefferson) pizza. Walking home from Wetmore school hoping Albert DeVito would notice me. Being in 6th grade at Wetmore when President Kennedy was shot. My friends were Betty Biadsow & Joanne Femalro, the lived on Mary Street.
Oh does anyone remember the place where they would kill a chicken for you. You could pick it out alive & the give it to you wrapped & ready to cook. It was in the 1000 block of Bleecker St, between Nichols and Jefferson?
Right down the street from me...next block

Wow! ADKLAKES, you are a 50's-60's walking encyclopedia. I'll bet your in your 60's. Are you a male or female? Did you go to Conkling school?
Anybody remember Joe Nicola, Miss Macucci use to lock him in the teachers cage in the coat room.
Anybody remember Bobby Amelio, supposedly murdered by the mob.
What about meatball or sausage tunnels at Lin D Joy, and pepperoni baked into a loaf of bread at Dandee Donuts. C'mon there are loads of Dandee Donuts people out there, let's hear from you!!!
oh yeah, talk nice.
Bobby was a friend of mine. I knew his parents, sisters and wife. I think they are all gone now except one sister. Don't know about his wife. I remember the day he died. He was a good kid, a little nutty but a good kid and a good friend. I still think about him once in a while. Wow, that's a while ago now come to think of it.
