Oh yes, I drove through Utica today and noticed that it must be getting close to Boilermaker time. I can tell because it is the only time the streets are ever swept and the grass gets mowed on the parkway. Its time for the once a year event when Uitca actually resembles a normal place.
Hey we at least clean up one a year but so true.

Why are you on the Utica forum commenting? May I ask that? If you found such a better life elsewhere, why are you using your time and energy to comment on Utica?
Does that really matter?

It certainly reinforces my decision, that's for sure. And whatever my reason may be, it doesn't change a single thing about the conditions in Utica. Whether I'm here just for laughs or because I had some free time and wanted to check on the cesspool I used to call "home" - Uticas still in the same condition either way.

For people who moved away years ago and come back and see Utica there first reaction is oh my God I'll never come back for another visit. The streets are deplorable, building all boarded up, it's dirty, nothings here that use to be here and people are still bitching but one thing for sure most of them don't come back for a second visit. You can always tell an out of towner to. They are the only two people walking on Genesee street. I feel bad for them.

The city should make the boilermaker people pay for half of the paving that is done EVERY YEAR on culver ave and the parkway. These areas are redone every year just for the boilermaker while many other streets that are in need of repaving go untouched!

Haha, don't feel bad for us, we get to go back home. You ARE home. And by the way, you guys treat out of towners like crap. When I used to get carded at bars there with an out of state DL, the bouncers would look at me like they wanted to kick my a$$. And there were ALWAYS wannabe MMA tough guy greasy Italians around with wife beaters and gold chains looking to start a fight. That's why they stay in Utica, trying to be the big bad tough guy they could never be in a place with more people.

I manage to live in a clean safe neighborhood, go to work everyday, enjoy free time, and sleep well at night. All in Utica, New York. Oh my god, what a revelation! I feel sorry for you if your life sucks here and want to leave. But not my problem.

And you live on Charity and have fooled yourself into thinking this is a life. Yay for you you're just one of the thousands that are stuck here and too stupid to get the F out. Nobody CHOOSES to stay here in the poverty toilet freezing their asses off and paying half your income for retardation in a city that 99% of the people know is a toilet. Don't get flushed turd!

Poster #130 Who do you think you are???????? Not for anything for Poster #129 no doubt works very hard for what they have and if they are happy where they live and want to post that on this thread then it's perfectly fine. Guess what?? And let me inform you that nobody is paying half my income I can guarantee you that. Why don't you go get flushed down the nearest sewer because your attitude stinks and so do you. Don't you dare sit there behind a computer and mouth off like that to someone who has a right to live where they want and works hard for their income without any help and is happy. Idiot!!!!

No retard up state whiner. Typical "As long as it SOUNDS good" utiocan lowlife excuse to make yourself look witty or right. Until YOU get paid very very well and entrusted with serious responsibilities to travel and work all over the world save it to try to impress the other upstate chickenheads that doesn't work on normal people that don't have to try to live some fantasy for the benefit of others' opinions. I DO NOT live here, I NEVER would... you upstate educated reeeeeeetard. If you must know I am here working at things nobody local is trusted or even qualified to perform with a paid condo and travel/expenses and will soon be on to better places. Your whole area is substandard and lives lies and imaginary dreams. You win some you lose some the offer was just too good. That's what happens when you're normal and you aren't raised in the Appalachia of the us.
Know your places, rednecks. Don't hate successful and forceful people, hate your parents for raising you in such a substandard genetic retard pool where the "good life" is just a matter of how well you ignore your problems and flaws. I couldn't live like most of you people.

It's okay Larry. Everyone completely understands your need to preach about how much more educated, worldly, trusted, and "needed" you are by everyone else. Lol.
People do choose to live here because some people do "choose" to not be completely selfish with their life. They stay to take care of elderly parents, live near their children while they're growing up and realize that there is more to life than trying to impress the rest of the world.
I wasn't born and raised here, but I choose to stay here because I have children here who don't live with me. Sure I could make a lot more money somewhere else in the country and have turned down more than a few offers to do so, simply because I value being near my children. I'm guessing you're a mid 20's full of yourself individual who hasn't even been in the work world for more than 5 years.

Or you're just jealous you will never even be able to write a coherent paragraph let alone measure up. That's what you rednecks are left with up here. Don't quit the public servant dole job to study psyche. FAIL.

No matter what you adult-children that never emotionally mature say it won't change your status at the bottom of society's totem pole. At least you know your place but you should be more accepting of it since you think your sad life is a popularity contest.
I'd feel the same way too if I had made the wrong choices in life and was left only to cry and try to pretend I was a real producing member of society. Now go imagine something scarier you're not even capable of much more than wishful dreaming and retard noise.

Don't count on your imaginary psyche degree for bets. You're wrong. I'm employed with the same firm my family worked for since the 70s and it's all family. I don't care if you believe me it doesn't change the reality. Save your sad excuses because if you truly cared about your "anything will do" utican parents you'd move them to a healthier region with MUCH better healthcare. Save it. It's not my fault you people are generationally repulsive and stupid. You think all this came out of nowhere? HAHAHAHAHHA!

LOL he's right whineass! No wonder you're stuck whining and making kiddie jokes in uterus NY. You're an upstate redneck failure that can't handle being told so.

Poor baby you need your sucker or baba? Maybe one day you too can make a real, funny mature comment instead of what usually passes for a diss in uterus.

Hahahahaha...Awesome post Ginny!! Pay NO MIND is right..I've come to the conclusion that this Larry is probably just a little weasel of a person who is trying to sound all important behind a computer..hahahaha..Not for anything but if your NOT from Utica NY and hate it so much..why then would you let the IP address say you are from Utica???? instead of where you "claim" to be from and just here "working"..hahaha..T his is getting more and more hilarious by the minute! You are a JOKE..Get it??? Know what that means weasel?! And you are very lucky I do not know who you really are or where you are because if anyone ever says things like you are typing on this computer to my face well you will be quite surprised at what I would do! And to belittle MY parents?????? NOW.. watch out..Whoever you are and claim to be..watch your sorry ass because nobody says that about MY parents and I'm sure others feel the same on here. Oh and by the way..if your so important with"serious responsibilities" and whatever other garbage your saying on here..then why are you spending so much time on the Utica forums???? Yea..your a big time exec alright..in your pea-headed brain..Your the lowlife of all lowlife with the way you talk on here.. And when is your "so called" work done here???? I hope soon..because if someone gets wind of who you are and where you are..you better run as fast as you can out of town and to the heaven on earth that you live in..or so you think!!!!!!! Just another person who tries to be a big shot on the forums and really is a nobody!! hahahahahahahahahaha... Ooooo get back to your "serious responsibilities" before you get caught and lose your "over the top job" hahahahahahaha....

Oh! And make sure your next retard upstate inbred loser reply has lots of "hahahah" and "<ALO" as if you think people telling you about your poverty-ass selves is rewarding and funny! When you can pay of a 265.5k home in Orange Co. in 5 years I'll be impressed meantime you;re redneck whiner have-not ooooticans.
