Technically, he also does not know where he is getting the money from.
You are correct, Tax money, price could even be higher.
Basement of school has 3 fuel oil tanks 1,000 gallons of fuel spilled in that area, and about 6 feet of standing water, Mayor is not disclosing that fact.

A former state corrections officer was charged with illegally releasing friable asbestos into the environment during a renovation project inside a house at 222 Academy St.

On Thursday, Aaron A. Netto, 36, of 23997 County Route 159, was arrested on charges of third-degree endangering public health, safety or the environment, a class E felony, and misdemeanor second-degree reckless endangerment.

State police in Watertown assisted the state Bureau of Environmental Crimes Investigations with the arrest.

Mr. Netto is accused of knowingly releasing more than 1,000 pounds of friable and nonfriable asbestos material into the environment while conducting an illegal asbestos abatement at the vacant two-family house that he purchased Aug. 16. The city Code Enforcement Office said he began demolition inside the house without a permit.

Mr. Netto also is alleged to have secured the help of an unidentified 50-year-old man in the asbestos abatement without providing personal protective equipment, causing the man to have a substantial risk of serious physical injury.

He was arraigned in City Court and released on his own recognizance pending grand jury action. State police said they could not provide further information at this time.

The former state corrections officer resigned his position as part of a plea agreement in Jefferson County Court that resolved charges that he possessed items stolen from several construction sites. In October, he pleaded guilty to four counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, attempted tampering with physical evidence and conspiracy, all misdemeanors.
