Wow, this is the most ignorant comment on here, and that's pretty bad. You need a new hobby, because politics is not your forte.
Actually YOUR comment is pretty ignorant thanks for calling people names Hanna really is the same. You can't deny that and Boehlert was the worst loser you've had there in generations. What exactly is untrue about that shut your face if you think people think Boehlert s some "winner". Same for Hanna 22 thousand jobs left that district on his watch so save us the retard show and denials of the obvious.

Well for starters Sheldon Silver has nothing to do with Congress!
I love it when Uticans play stupid in order to pretend they have a point. It shows how depraved they are and how far they'll lie and deny to save face and just admit they don't know what they want that's why that area was always a cistern of losers and failure. You can whine and cry but the results say it all about you fools.

Enjoy you self made septic hole tribute to societal failure!!

Sherry Boehlert was the Gravy Train Conductor. Once the Gravy Train stopped he dumped this area like a hot potato and moved to Delaware. Hanna was supposed to be a people's candidate. Instead, he is now bought and paid fr by radical Washington DC based Political Action Committees.

I wish the moderate republicans would form their own party and call it the moderate republican party. I think the right wing will see how small their group really is.

I started this thread with polling numbers I saw. I didn't mention who gave them to me or any other details.

Now I will, but will use the word MAYBE to protect myself.

MAYBE there is a mole in one of the camps.

MAYBE a candidate paid for a poll a while ago.

MAYBE the numbers weren't rock solid either way.

MAYBE somebody has been spending a lot of money.

MAYBE somebody has resorted to the politics of fear.

Do the math. YMMV.

MAYBE Tenney will beat Hanna
MAYBE Elvis is still alive
MAYBE JFK's assassination was a conspiracy
MAYBE we never landed on the moon
MAYBE we'll have a blizzard in August.

MAYBE the polling numbers were correct:one has a 4 (as in 14%) and one has a 5 (as in 85%)

MAYBE it's the right wing minority that should form their own party (wait, they already have.) Then they can get together, compare their handguns, swap Confederate and Nazi flags and screw each other's wives

We're talking about the candidate's ability to legislate. In order to legislate effectively, regardless of venue, one has to have the ability to compromise. There is only one candidate in this race who's shown any kind of willingness to work across the aisle. The ability to compromise will be even more important in the coming years because from my point of view we could realistically be looking at eight more years with a Democrat in the White House.

I hate the thought of that but Hillary is a strong candidate and the Republican Party seems to be in disarray. Republicans have no clear candidate for 2016 with the widespread support that would be required to win the election. In light of that I think it will be the candidate who can strike a bargain for at least some of the things that he/she wants for our district that will be best for us. I like that Ms. Tenney is very consistent and steadfast in her beliefs. It's just that in the current political climate that attitude will continue to perpetuate a do nothing congress.

I'm not advocating for letting Democrats to run roughshod over Republicans and their beliefs. I'm just saying that given the current reality Republicans have to take what they can get until they can take the power back. I think eventually it will happen. The road our country is on with current Democrats in power is a dead end.

<quoted text>Like you we we will be voting for Claudia. We don't need "cooperation" a lot of good that has done so far! LOOK at the abysmal results! End of story. That Hanna even sees his "cooperation across the aisle" as a "plus" say everything you need to know in order to explain his undeniably LIBERAL record.
Are you half liberal too? This is a "good result" to you so far?
I have seen the results and it is the extremes in both parties that are responsible for these results. There has been no cooperation or compromise to speak of. Do you pay attention or do you just parrot talking points?
There has been no progress because the hard core right wing and the hard core left wing are in control of their respective parties. There are not enough legislators like Hanna who are willing to reach across the aisle in the spirit of compromise. We need more with the cooperative mindset not fewer.

Obviously we are not seeing good results right now but it is precisely because of the extremes in each party who are unwilling to meet in the middle. Electing more representatives will only produce worse results.

I am not half liberal and again I would ask you to point to specific votes that make you say Hanna is liberal. I've asked before and all I hear are crickets. I would rather Republicans have complete control but I'm a realist. I think Hillary will be elected in 2016 and possibly again in 2020, but 2016 for sure. The Republican party is in disarray due to infighting and don't have anyone strong enough to beat Mrs. Clinton I don't think. It would take a miracle. I thought that by now Americans would have tired of the march toward socialism and be ready for Republicans again. It's not happening though. Republicans are shooting themselves in the foot at every turn. That's why electing people willing to compromise is key. Part of a pie is much better than no pie at all.

I will vote for Claudia. We sent Hanna to Washington and he supports Washington. We need someone for us. He is out of touch with taxes, jobs, jobs leaving area food prices, Benghazi, Marine in Mexico, billions sent to other countries gas taxes, etc. Where was his voice, that's why he was there. Failed I hope she wins and give her a chance to go to Washington and not be a puppet. He was all talk

Hanna is another Sherwood Boehlert. What did Boehlert do for Oneida County? He was in politics for the money.
