Naw, great sentiment maybe but the lobbyists kill you every time. For the record I vote Independent and look at party zombies like clowns. Like religion there are soooo many analogies! If I had to chose I'd lean right because I make things for a living and know I am not alone that I don't often charge what I could and I just prefer the volume for better future purchasing clout anyway. Voting - The taxes on my income was only half the reason I got out. They will never ALLOW you to vote on things that would reform NY. Look how it spiraled until it died! Regulation and taxes were retarded. Especially to pay people who treat everyone like shyt. I don't mind paying taxes within reason and it makes me proud to say it and don't mind seeing people who have no food starve get food if they need it no matter how much crack or whatever their problem is, but NY is a little too loose with the handouts, personal, corporate or otherwise. Jobs for idiots etc. Voting hasn't and won't change unless it's very slow NY is too entrenched and it's all backwards and asinine. Regulated for money not reason!
NY is dead and will continue to rot until it gets so bad that people literally uprise against the Cuomos, the Destitos, the Sheldon Silvers and Chuck Schumers of the world. Voting is 1/8th the battle unfortunately. NY is just too full of fake scumbags. Every noble assertion under the sun but not a twig of accountability or true respect in the whole batch.

Oh pepsi board voted to stay in NY and review it in 2013 spring whether to move their HQ out of NY again. 5 years now they vote closer and closer to moving each poll and they got a new CEO so let's hope he gets smart and gets out too. Again the only way it will get bad is to get that crackhead state to hit rock bottom and wake the fk up.

Good luck, but get smart and get out asap if you can. Leave it to all the superheroes until it implodes.

I love Conservative Tax whiners who are too cowardly to claim Party Affiliation.

"For the record I vote Independent and look at party zombies like clowns"

They make fluffy blanket statements at the beginning of a long winded paragraph full of run on sentences, and (because it was so long and nonsensical) then goes ahead and shows his true colors by naming only Democratic Politicians. OOPS!!!

If you were really in the military you would never post this. Just one more thing, you just described someone who is not in the 47% sorry I know you want to be.

Plenty of Republican Millionaires who didnt pay any taxes and many who received unemployment benefits to boot - so I guess they cant vote either.

I was trying to think of why he would make such a bold claim then thought that he may be including those who claim all the deductions who get paid back what they spend in.

Like child tax credit families or housing deductions. Then throw those in who don't file such as SS and welfare.

I still think Romney is a man made clone of the republican party. He looks like he was created from Ronald Reagan and George Bush Sr. and smooched into one. These brain washed into ever republican belief.

Mitt's great backpedal after was to say "most people would like to pay taxes."

I'm never going to run for office but I'm sure at least 99.9% DO NOT want to pay taxes.

Maybe YOU are willing to take Romney's word for it, but if everything he is doing is "legal" why is he so unwilling to share his returns for the last 10 years? Why does he have Swiss Bank Accounts, why does he shelter Money from Taxes in the Cayman Islands.

Obama has insured that these people start paying their fair share in 2013. Obamacare and new tax rates, implemented by Obama, raise taxes on the poor and middle class.

News Flash Billy Boy. Barack Obama IS PRESIDENT he doesn't have to provide anything.
Romney WANTS TO BE President, he has to tell us what we want to know before we will Vote for him.
We want to know how many felonies he has committed. Voter Fraud? Yes. Securities Fraud? Yes. Tax Fraud? Don't know yet.

You really drink the kool-aid. Being the president does not excuse him from answering these questions if he wants to get re elected. He is a failed president, but you believe blindly how great he is. I really feel sorry for you no thoughts of your own just a blind loyality to your party.

I have thoughts of my own, here are a few.
1. President Obama stopped this Country from falling off the cliff into another Republican Great Depression.
2. President Obama Chose to save Millions of Jobs by Rescuing the Auto industry,(romney said let em fail).
3. President Obama ended the War in Iraq.
4. President Obama gave the order to Kill Bin Laden(romney said he wouldn't waste his time)
5. President Obama passed a the Affordable Care Act, something Presidents have been trying to accomplish for Decades.
6. President Obama signed the Lilly Ledbetter fair pay act.
