A two year degree is about the same as a high school diploma ten years ago now.

I would say even less than that now.

And this my friends is exactly why Utica is not a hotbed of technical jobs.

It won't be long now, people. The end is near--mark my words. Everything negative that's going on in this world; things getting more chaotic and crazy as time goes on; global warming; our oceans being raped of their fish to feed people by huge corporate trawlers that net the fish by the ton; the USA in debt up to its eyeballs with no remedy on the horizon; gas at record prices and food heading in that direction; if you can find a job in the Mohawk Valley it only pays 7 to $9.00/hr(try to buy your own home making those wages--the banks will laugh you right out the front doors!); one war we can't afford(literally)to fight after another; oil spills destroying our environment spill by spill(there is no way possible to recover every gallon spilled); hydrofracking will eventually be allowed in New York as our elected politicians will eventually cave in to the gas drilling companies because of the millions of dollars involved for a relatively small number of landowners(They CAN NOT recover every gallon of carcinogenic-chemical-laden fracking fluid that they pump into the ground in order to release that gas, and WHO WILL MONITOR what these companies are doing with this toxic wastewater once it is pumped back up from underground?? Past actions by other companies will show that in order to save $$$ this wastewater will be dumped illegally into above-ground bodies of water or onto someone's land where it will find its way into someone's drinking water).

The late, great planet earth. In the end we'll all be able to thank mankind itself for its demise.

All set to make HOW MUCH per hour to start?? To wipe other people's asses, scrub their smelly ball sacks and coolies, empty and scrub bedpans and do every other unpleasant, menial task LPNs and RNs used to have to do years ago?? And to be looked down upon and talked down to by those same LPNs and RNs?? I couldn't do that job even for $20.00/hr--sorry. I guess it takes a certain type of compassionate person and personality to be able to take care of a stranger's personal care needs like that, especially when that stranger's family doesn't have the time and/or desire to do those things for their loved one. I will say this though; you all should be paid at least as much as LPNs make because of the nature of the duties you have to perform. Good luck to all of you CNAs and PCAs. Perhaps you should unionize and DEMAND HIGHER WAGES.

"There is No Available Jobs In Utica?" Proper grammar within a cover letter and resume may help. No one should need three years of compensation if they are fit to work.

Working is not a right it's not a priviledge; it's a whatever you feel like doing today. M,e I smoke weed all day, drink beer all night and the government totally supports me. And that's my God given right.

The only right that God gave you was free will. It's too bad you exercise that right at the expense of others. I hope you don't plan to reproduce in the near future. Maturity may serve you well.

My lifestyle is not at another persons expense. It's at the governments expense. The government is the government, and not any person or people.

Your ignorance is amazing. Obviously, you don't know or care that the working pay for your lazy lifestyle.

I don't care much if I reproduce, but I sure do like to practice. I am going to study-up on just how my life style is costing the working man money. Maybe the topic of government was not covered where I went to school.
