Whereas I applaud anyone trying to exercise their first amendment rights to free speech or to organize and assemble against a common cause,I'm dismayed as to why those that are particpating in it aren't protesting the democratic machine in NYS that has caused this filth to exist.
Too many cognitive miesers out their that remain clueless the larger picture and are not remotely aware that the stewardship we have given our elected officials has been abused. Wall Street isn't the problem nor is a system of capitalism. Wake Up, NY!
The problem is government abuses at all levels. Solutions for America will be presented and I'm going to start an organization that will create a return to the constitutional principles that our forefathers so valiantly fought for.
Basic premise: Equal Treatment under the law. That means no class warfare. That means equalization of Tax Rates, with no exemptions, or deductions.
No Government, State, Local, City, School District should be allowed to tax it's citizens to the point of forcing people out of their homes. No sum total of tax should exceed more than 20 percent total of a persons income.
That means not paying more than 20% total in sales, local, county, state, federal, and school taxes.
We need to reform the entire federal government and spending of our tax payer dolloars to foreign governments and we need to stop the numerous federal agency rules that are cripling our economies.
Our government isn't in business to promote business and the issue isn't with capitalism it works. Try living in a socialistic country or abroad and then dare to complain about America.
Obama is filth, the government both parties have abused the stewardship they have been entrusted with and the problem isn't wall street. It is a system of Government that allows loopholes, gives tax payer money to businesses and those politicians that are bedfellows with lobbyists.
Do you people realize how much money we give to pakistan, and to china, and to many nations? It has to stop, and we need transparency in government, reform on Senate Rules, and we don't need Czars, or presidents that prepetuate Class Warfare.
You want to talk about solutions. How about getting off the welfare trap. I earn less than 500 a month. I'm not on foodstamps, I'm not on welfare, I'm not on public assistance. I live within my means and with pain have taken care of two aging parents. I've seen the worst that the system of handouts has to offer. I've seen many complain about not getting more and more and more. I've seen the lack of accountability and personal responsibility fostered by an educational system that gives everyone a trophy for participation, with false praise and no true merit or grit instilled in individuals.
I'm non-partisan, and firmly beleive in America despite the leaders that have marred her glory. If you aren't American First, get out. I'm a naturalized citizen and wouldn't live anywhere else in the world.
How do we reform our goverment. It's not with this current administration, and it's unfortunately not with the same political machine of Democrats and Republicans.
Labor Unions don't protect people, labor laws should. We need reform and access to equality under the law.
A flat tax and eliminating the IRS and eliminating government spending are the true issues you all should be addressing.
I'll be staging a solutions for America and all will be invited. Tea Partiers, Green Movements, Businessmen, Blacks, whites, Muslims, etc with an emphasis on being American First.
Good luck on your perpetuation of the class warfare excuse that you are all downtrodden and keep making excuses vs creating and demanding solutions.

Poor Yes, dirty why, poor yes uneducated why, poor yes, and yes you ignorant slut $500.00 a month and have the proof of deposit to show. Want to compare your ignorant uniformed notion of what poverty is let's talk.

Socio economic conditions of adveristy do not affect one's intellignece level. They choice to be downtrodden is yours. I pay all of my bills, I pay all of my taxes and I buy groceries on that also.

With respect to the greedy corporations in America. Reform the government handouts, welfare, and all section8 housing programs to create a system of empowerment for those that choose to be on those services. For the many fine men and women that are on social programs or rely on assistance from an entity of any sort, their is at least a social network for you to receive the help that so many are desparate for. But the excuses that corporations are to blame, need to stop. Corrupt polilticians and the current filth in office, the Chicago Political Machine of lies, that people will believe the bill of goods that they've been sold are a multitude of problems with Occupying the streets of Utica.

No more government handouts, get rid of subchapter C not for profit and start with a clean slate when it comes to the tax code. As for Herman Cains 9,9,9 plan....think outside the box dog, eliminate the tax system as it exists. The last thing America needs is a national sales tax, move to Canada if you want one. And for our sake as American's First we pledge our allegiance to the Constitution of The United States.

Oh and 500 a month is my reality. I care for numerous senior citizens that only make 600-800 dollars a month and they aren't on social programs food stamps, heap, or any other source of social handout.

Oh, many without cars and many not given gas cards to go do their to dos. Many being helped by neighbors, without a price.

Connecticut, and Chris Dodd your state is a poor example of electing officials that have abonded their responsibility to the electorate. Without Corporations and small businessess trying to fix the mess the government created, thanks to the Democrats, there would be no money for anyone. Oh, and by the way, Life wasn't meant to be a garden of eden.

It has adversities, as well as unfortuanate circumstances. I picked vegetables in the field, I worked in a factory, and I worked 40 hours a week while going to college for minimum wage.

And after a severe injury, I only make 500 a month. Grow up. I live within my means and don't have nor do I want Socialized anything.

My suggestion to you all that gripe about America is to get out. Oh, and clean up cornhill, it's a filth mess. Get up off of your keesters and actuall stop complaining about not having or the haves vs the have nots. Walmart is a corporation why not boycott them and the fact that their goods come from China? Why not boycott AUW union which have caused prices of vehicles to skyrocket? Why not boycoutt teachers that only work 3-5 40 minute periods and have the audacity to demand more oh, and 180 days a year.

Wake up.

Was wondering if the NBC, nothing but crap network is going to skew the coverage on this event. No there is no media bias on WKTV, MSNBC, or other leftist propogandist networks.
To all you socialists that complain about every aspect of your existence, guess what the other man's money is running out. No more to be had, and even if you took 100% of ever rich man's money property etc, it wouldn't fix the mess that the Democrats and this administration have caused.
Repbulican have little to be desired either as they have allowed without a concerted effort their right wing conservativism to allienate them from the daily activities of hard working Americans.
Clean up utica and the broken windows syndrome that exists there. Try shopping at Price chopper on Genesee Street. The language and the floor show leave much to be desired.
Young individuals that have no sense of how to comport themselves in public. Shameless behavior with no respect for themselves and a desire to want more and more because corporations are bad and social handouts are good mentalities.
Do you pay taxes in NYS, do you pay taxes on income, do you pay taxes on services you provide, what do you pay for without it coming from public assistance?
You have the responsibility to yourself to not be a victim of your own creation. I like that many of the participants in NY Wall Street were selling drugs, and dirtier than ever.
How about you all bring a broom to your little demon stration and you devils pitch in to clean the neighborhoods your walking around.
If your able to go out and protest, your able to get off of the welfare and work. Productive members of society have had enough of your rhetoric.
My neighbor earns 1500 a month on welfare and food stamps and rec'd 16,000 in money back from taxes she never paid due to 5 kids from 5 different fathers and earned income tax credits.
Government doesn't do your dying for you, how about making responsible choices to do your living for yourself with pride responsibility and daring to raise yourself out of any socio economic condition.
And her boyfriend collects welfare is a tattoo artist in the projects in Ilion and we are all paying for it.

People say "go vote." If they wanted to hear from us with our votes don't you think they would change the day from the 2nd Tuesday in Nov (originally chosen to accommodate farmers after their harvest when we were an agricultural society)to a Sunday making it easier to vote. In Chile voting is not only encouraged by the govt you are fined if you don't vote!
This country has been co-opted and ruined by greedy corporations and politicians that dance for them.

He also took care of his neighbors aging parent through stroke and at home care for two years.

Well Pop do you want to take other peoples hard earned income. Do you want mine as well? I work at walmart and make 17,000 a year and not in the welfare line or feeling as if I have nothing.

If you saw the people abuse the system getting big screen tvs having the lastes cell phones, bling around their necks and using the food stamps and ebt like it's candy you'd have a clue.

Kudos to the guy or girl in Frankfort if it's whom I think it is good for you. We know you're a decent soul. I remember you from Utica Poetry Slams. Not all people that support the arts are socialistic hippies.

Pan handlers and 70's want to be nothings. Get a job. I think onlookers should organize and throw rotten tomatoes at these freaks.

Socialism is why the sales tax rate in Utica and Oneida County is 10% plus and why property taxes are so high seniors are having to leave their homes. All the while the beneficiares like Pop sit on their lazy laurels don't shower and smoke pot all day long collecting the welfare.

Rotten tomatoes to Occupy Utica. Mayor Roefaro look at the filth on your streets.
