We are the 99 percent. We are getting kicked out of our homes. We are forced to choose between groceries and rent. We are denied quality medical care. We are suffering from environmental pollution. We are working long hours for little pay and no rights, if we're working at all. We are getting nothing while the other 1 percent is getting everything. We are the 99 percent.

We are the 99%. It's time to take our stand.

I love how The Busy Corner is your symbolic Wall Street! You people crack me up! There better not be any illegal immigrants at this rally - you invited Americans who pay taxes. Hope you're not hypocrites. See you on December 31 when you leave the park for your New Year's parties!

Contact @OccupyTheNation on twitter for help. They've listed this peaceful gathering, and offered assistance.

Those interested get info on your rights. Keep it peaceful. Bring along your cameras and cell phones. Have a phone number for a local law firm handy. No drugs/alcohol. Prepare for the cold. On twitter you can find all sorts of links to rights, ideas to help spread the word, flyer pictures, know your rights info, sites to set up donations and more. Yes you will come across the same "troll" types, just like here, but their taunts help spread awareness.

All who wish to show solidarity are welcome, no restrictions. Paying taxes is NOT a requirement to display your support. And those who support the movement come from all walks of life. Some stories on the site below.

And don't forget to vote for the everspending Obama in the next election. After 4 more years of this crap, you will occupy homeless shelters.

Rise and Shine? You should try a new name, perhaps....Stay asleep and in the dark. The ONLY spending that has increased, is Military spending. If you didn't have your head buried so deeply in the "Fox so called News" sand box, you might see what's really been happening. I love people who complain about "out of control spending" but can't point to ANY specific spending they find problematic.

Another way to support the movement is to remove your money from big banks and instead use a local Credit Union. Don't give them your money anymore. Besides BOA WellsFargo and JPMC are all going to begin imposing a $5 dollar debit card fee.

How about stop wasting time with this crap, get out and vote, and get to work. You have time to sit on a corner, but not time to look for a job? Makes no sense!! Get off your High horse and take any job available...

Remember the Occupy Utica rally will be held at the Busy Corner Park, corner of Lafaette St. and Genessee St., across from the Hotel Utica. The event happens Thursday, October 13 at 5:00pm, but it would be a good idea to show up early.

It's the perfect location, since the Hotel Utica has devoured hundreds of thousands of dollars that should have been used for urban development thanks. Because of that sweetheart deal the banks and the Hotel are sitting pretty, while the people that paid for it are losing their homes and wondering how much longer they'll have jobs. Those are your tax dollars bailing out a failing business!

Bring yourself and bring your signs.

Remember to peacefully stand strong. People will ridicule you, but don't be discouraged. 99% of the country is behind you! If you read the 99% link you will see. Rumors of this being a bunch of kids with no jobs, living in moms basement, are just that...RUMORS. It is your neighbors, brothers, sisters, everyone you know that struggles to live, the working, those looking for work, and yes even some of your enemies. Now is the time to ALL come together. Enough is enough. Move your money out of big banks, stand in solidarity with those around the WORLD!
