Its obvious from your response you have never experienced the significant emotional event of having your home flooded and then have to deal with a town supervisor who is more focused on helping out of town millionaires instead of helping New Hartford residents deal with this annual tragedy.<quoted text>
Never once heard Pat blame DEC, Mother Nature, or the homeowners. Please cite your sources.
Disbanding the storm water committee--what exactly did they do that isn't being done by the engineering consultants, except be fodder to the likes of Ed & Cathy?
The $600k on the 840 project has no more of a connection to the storm water monies than the police budget has to the dpw budget.
Try and keep it intelligent rather than emotional.
Right now we have a back log of storm water projects and not enough money to do them all, at least that is what Tyksinski tells us. If that'a true, why didn't use that $600,000 on us to protect our homes? What good does that road do for us? Provide access to the Hampton Inn? Why don't even get the tax dollars from the Hampton since Tyksinksi worked out a deal where Adler doesn't even have to pay property taxes on his hotel. Typical Tyksinski, leaves NH taxpayers underwater and broke. Its over and my neighbors and I can't wait until September 10th!
