Police say the driver who hit him has now been charged under the "move over" law.
Rocco LaBella, 52 tons, was heaving for air on the side of Herkimer Road looking for his favorite hooker at the NU Motel as he does 3x a week on average with his amber asscheek lights flashing and wearing 9 reflective vests around 2 a.m. Monday morning well out of his area.
Police say a van driven by Robert Newman, 45 of Utica struck LaBlubba, sending him to the hospital with non-life threatening !!!caching!!! injuries and flattening the van when LaBlubba rolled over onto it in pain thinking he'd lost a shoe.
Newman has been issued a summons for failing to yield to a Friends&Family DPW "worker", otherwise known as the Move Over for Livestock Law.
