The Utica AAU scene has been changed dramatically this year. With the 3 new start up organizations along with D-Squad there are a lot of options. I am even hearing that Rome Select is another good option. What does everyone think? And why all of a sudden is there so many teams in Utica. What are the pros and cons of each organization? Also whats this new H.A.T.E team?

First of all, D-Squad is run well but the players are not to reliable at all. You never know who shows up to play. Alot of inner city kids with no guidance. City Rocks out of Albany being run by King, but he is not to be trusted at all. He is in it only for the money. So you choose.

I have worked with Donielous for many years out of the Cooperstown area and to say he is in it for the money is the dumbest statement I have ever heard. I have 3 of my girls playing on the City Rocks Team this year and wouldn't hesitate to to do anything with DK. We have kids that have played for D Squad and they have coaches and players who do not respect the game although there are some who are okay.

All you have to do is check the level of competion each play and who has certified new Yorkshire state coaches not just an Aau card

D-Squad is best run and well coached and very affordable and goes to great events. Some of inner city kids have issues but Peterson handles them greatly and he keeps them well disiplined. DK is all about money. He is a greedy pig. The squad is very fair and go to a lot of national events too.

D squad is ok, talent is avg. Rome select is also a good program. They are getting pretty big.
Talent on rome select is good on some teams, not so good on the other.
Hey, as long as the kids are playing, that's all that counts
