Serves her right. Everyone's worried about gun violence against kids instead of getting the kids away from scumbag parents. The kids don't stand a chance when they are raised like animals from birth.

Obviously, Letisha has a heightened sense of entitlement and will not let anything stand between her and her benefits.

She must have thought bitching to family court would get her more free minutes on her Obama phone

She made the call to Family Court. What does that have to do with her benefits?

The way I read it, she made the call to a social worker, not family court. But feel free to defend her, anyways.

Maybe your reading comprehension needs some work then. I'm not defending her, I am correcting you. You shouldn't assume. Your remark has racial undertones.

Is that how it works? You play the race card and win the argument?

No, it was not racial -- I quote from the news article: "Maciol says 34-year-old Letisha Freeman was arrested after placing a phone call to an Oneida County Social Worker in the city of Rome."

What does Family Court have to do with benefits? I can think of many reasons a social worker would be needed at Family Court that have nothing to do with benefits.

It says she made a terroristic threat. Funny how it doesn't say what exactly she said. Terrorism is defined by the FBI as acts or threats to persude or change governemnt or it's policies. I'm sure whatever she said is being stretched and manipulated, much like women do, to call it a "terroristic threat" because the story does not say what exactly she said. Did the case worker record the call? I bet not. No evidence other than testimony. Interesting how "terrorism" is now being used as a catch all.

How about CPS taking one of her kids out of her home? One less child equals a smaller Welfare check!

Have you heard about the word "Perjury" (lying under Oath)

Anything you testify in Court, you must swear to tell the truth. If you lie, you are subject to a Perjury charge and if convicted, it carries at least a 5 year jail sentence.

I wouldn't lie for anyone - no one is not worth going to jail for.

You're right. I associated social worker with public assistance benefits. Not great logic but neither is it racist.
