Not many leaders in NH can but for Hobin I would keep your eyes wide open. He has a lot of financial issues.

Did his house get foreclosed on yet or did the NHCS Board take care of that for him?

I am the treasurer of the gridiron club. I held this position when Coach Jones was there and have it now for Coach Hobin. The bank account is controlled by me and the president of the gridiron club who is not Coach Hobin. I assure you that Coach Hobin is a decent and ethical man as was Coach Jones when I worked with him. I can account for every penny brought in and spent for the last 4 years. I will meet with any parent anytime they like to show them the financial book. It has all the bank statements, receipts, invoices, etc. 100% goes into the football program. Just this year we paid for 1/2 of the new uniforms $6000, HUDL system, 1/2 of the new varsity helmets, 2 glute/hamstring machines for the weight room, tshirts shorts water bottles and wrist bands for all varsity and JV players. Without the fund raisers and the donations of our parents and supporters, these things would not of happened. Please feel free to stop me anytime and I would be glad to show you the books for the last 4 years. If you are parents of players, I truly appreciate what you have done to improve the program.

We are all sure the books are in order. By the way, who is the President of the "gridiron club?"
Just wondering

Chad DeFina is the president and I am the treasurer. My name is Dennis Webster. I have been the treasurer for 4 years. Before that I was treasurer of New Hartford Pop Warner. I was also a coach for pop warner, helped out with Little League and youth basketball. Not a very good coach but I had fun. These programs need people to step up and volunteer their time. Actually, the gridiron club has a lot of involved parents overseeing the fund raising, the concession stand, the tailgate after the game, banquet, pre-game logistics. It takes a lot of people to make these programs successful. Please stop me anytime as I'm always at the games. I don't always have the financial books on me but would be more than glad to bring them anytime a parent would like to look.

I see on-line that there is a Webster on the NH roster. Your kid? If so, how much playing time are you buying him defending an Alvanos minion who together at Hamilton and NH have a combined record of 6 - 43? I'll just bet DeFina has a kid coming up too. But that's just a guess.

My son is a junior and plays on the JV squad. He dressed for varsity and did not get in for a play. Of course you're going to get nothing but player parents helping with the gridiron club. Usually parents move on once their children graduate. It's hard to get anybody to help out so that's why you see players parents helping out. I'm sure you'll see this at any school in any program. Look at any booster club and you'll see parents of players helping out. I never have and never will use my position as a volunteer to gain favoritism for my child. If you like, please ask any coach and you will get confirmation. I love the game of football. I played it. I coached it. I gave up coaching as it's more fun to watch and help out. I'm sorry but this is my last post on this subject. Please feel free to stop me anytime you'd like to see the financial books.

DeFinas stepson is Michael Nole. Mr. Webster, don't even try answering the people who comment on this site.
