I love baseball and would love to help Little League Baseball as an Umpire. I read allot of posts on the internet about this and just found out I am ineligible.

I have a DUI from 9 years ago when i was 20 yeas old. In Colorado nothing ever comes off your record even things that you are arrested for and later found innocent. I somewhat understand what pressure Little League is under when it comes to kids but I wish it wasn't so black and white.

Not even the Big Brother Big Sister program has such tight restrictions.

Now, if only they could formulate a test for sensible fairness we could begin the season. I think that Little League Int'l is located to close to Sandusky territory and scared shitless of lawsuits.

You can only be denied for sexual offence . Better go back and do some research. However the LL board can decide not to let anyone coach for any reason . Board rule not LL

by the way misdemeanors are a criminal record!! please entirely read and comprehend the original post. thank you.
Linda agree with ya. Say you do a donut in your car and end up tearing up someones lawn. Any damage to someone elses property exceeding $250.00 constitutes a felony. Seems very broad. Sounds like the author of the rule is a Cuomo.

I believe that a previous poster has this correct. This decision has everything to do with LL HDQ being located in Sandusky's general vacinity.

misdemeanor is off your record in one years time
Misdemeanor DUI stays on your record for 10 years in Virginia
