Does anyone have any experience with the Perio Protect system? My dentist says I should consider it but it's expensive and I don't know anything about it. B4 I spend any money I would like to know if its a scam.

I love the perio protect trays! I have whiter teeth and no more bleeding gums. They are comfortable and an easy addition to my homecare regimen. It may be a bit expensive, but well worth it. My teeth have never felt cleaner.

Good luck.

I have been very optimist until a couple of weeks ago. I received no instructions and found the base of my teeth getting black. I found on line helpful info but my gums still bleed after 6 month of treatment. My dentist is more expensive then the on line info so now I don't know who to trust! ps my teeth do not seem whiter yet.

I was skeptical at first too, because I'm a smoker and apparently gum disease is more prominent in smokers. I was put on perio protect about 2 years ago - after needing to go to my periodontol specialist every 3 months for special cleanings for years and years (painful and expensive!!!). I am now loving my periodontal trays (easy to use and no pain) because I can feel the difference and now I was told that I don't need to see the dentist for another SIX MONTHS!!! And my dentist said my teeth and gums look better than they have in 10 years.

No, it is not a scam. I have used it and it is well worth the money. It saved my teeth and gums. I have no problems now whatsoever. I continue to use it, even though my gums are now healthy, to whiten my teeth. It also helps with bone growth if you have lost any bone around your teeth.

I was put on it several years ago, bit expensive but if you stay consistent with using it, it will serve you well. I get compliments on my smile and teeth often.

Peri gel is very inexpensive compared to the scaling treatments as the alternative. The gel used with the trays costs me less the $20 a month. This is a no brainier.

I have been using the trays for 3 years. It works. My teeth were loose and bleeding. I thought that my teeth would come out when the trays were removed after the cast was made. The held and got firm and my pocket counts went down to 1s and 2s from 3s,4, and 5s. I stopped using the Perio Gel after reading the ingredients. I use a mixture of toothpaste and increase the amount of hydrogen peroxide. I add one eyedropper of Hydro Peroxide to each tooth mold on the trays. My dentist says all is well. Listerine has been a occasional sub for tetracycline. Mouth guards cost around $120 for a good pair, I wonder if it might be a fair substitute for the trays??????? I also lay upside-down on my sofa to make sure that the peroxide enters the pockets in my upper teeth. It works!!!! Also H.Peroxide is used naturally made by the body to fight bacteria. I read that it explodes the cell walls of the bacteria. I used this same method with a fungal infection on my toe. I used Vicks Vapor rub on my toenail, covered it in a plasic baggie, put a sock over it. Fungus was gone after two months.:) No lies here, it works. One last thing, ask yourself why so few dentist uses it? Even my Dentist after seeing the results, hasn't adopted it. I think that it is a money loser for some of them. Just my opinion.:) Nothing against Dentist, they saved my teeth.

Has anyone tried to replace the Perio Protect trays with Sports Mouth guards? Mouth guards cost around $120 for a good pair, I wonder if it might be a fair substitute for the trays??????? Most dentist do the scaling and planning. Add mouth guard and toothpaste and Hydrogen Peroxide with regular 3-4 months cleaning and you have a fairly cheap Perio Protect system. Might to a good option to save your teeth if cash is low. If Congress will not help us, we must help ourselves.:(

This products is excellent. too bad the doctor where i went uses it basically for you to consider cosmetic dentistry. i had problems with my gums and his only interest was doing cosmetic dentistry. If I wanted to redo my teeth in the first place i would have jumped to gettting dentures. the perio does work in most instances. This guy said my teeth were 1000% better and i used the trays 2 days just to get my $50,000 for reconstructiive dentistrya pluse invisaligns. i qutie as i would have had to consider bankruptcyc

I've been using it and the antibiotic with the gel to kill bacteria for years now and it has been a miracle-worker. It may be a bit costly but it's WAY less expensive than having deep gum cleanings or surgeries the rest of your life (besides saving your gums and teeth).

Have you found that in using this product that your teeth have become whiter and that you now don't need to get them whitened?

Hurts my teeth. Makes them really sensitive to hot lukewarm cold and cool things. Dentist says to use a desensitising toothpaste or something. I give up.

Is there anywhere online where I can get the product (overseas pharmacy)? I used the product several years ago and it saved my teeth and gums.
Then my dentist retired, and every dentist I see (even the ones that apparent offer the treatment) are dead set on going straight to dentures, even though my condition is still not as bad as it was when I first started the treatment.
I know the treatment works for me... I can buy the Vibramycin on line but can't find a place to buy the Perio Gel - H.
Also wondered if a sports mouth guard would work or if I should use the old perio tray that is already over three years old.

My Perio Trays are over 5 years old and they still work just fine. My dentist put it this way, "they cost $600 and will last 6 years+, is it worth $100 per year to keep your teeth for the rest of your life?" So far so good. And yes, I found a place online to buy the gel:
