Another uneducated post about the OD. The online version is about one third the cost of home delivery. When you subscribe to the online version, you get the entire paper print, not just a selected few articles. Do your homework before you put down a business and make a jackass of yourself!!!!!
The OD doesn't need to be put down verbally, they do that to themselves with typos and little stupid articles that don't call anyone Donna the flaming douche of gas likes. She needs a slap in the face. The articles are written in an invariably amateurish and unsophisticated style and that stupid "vote" with them trying to make a "cutesy" joke as the third option every-time is stupid as all fuckin' getout. When the OD has an article that runs more than 1.5 paragraphs call us.

Shyts so bad my Aunt's African Grey Parrot would shit and piss outside the cage rather than let it's feces touch that ignorant yellow rag! WOW!

Gee what's the "selected" extra articles that you would get if you paid for that? A "cute baby contest or "Boilermaker" article? A total rank mom and pop pennysaver that is.

it may be one third, but its still not worth it. Unless you use the coupons, that's the only worth in both papers.

The Post Standard in Syracuse just announced they will only be publishing their newspaper 3 times a week -BUT- have NO intentions of charging for their Internet Newspaper.

That is what the OD should have done before ailienating what few viewers they presently have!!!!

Wooo! How many articles are in the "paper print"? Six as opposed to four in the online version?

While I feel for her brainwashed, soon-to-be jobless employees, I applaud the demise of the Observer Dispatch. I will also applaud the demise of Donna Donovan when Satan finally comes-a-callin' for that soul she sold him. I can't wait to see the nine ring circus that will ensue online when old age, or her environmental "condition".. finally advances and frees the Earth of her vile presence. Tick-tock. Tick-tock. I am in reality a compassionate guy.. however, after the destruction and criminal facilitation her existence has caused that region, who would shed a tear if someone literally threw avgas on her in the street and torched her in front of her kid?

The OD is a really bad paper. Their web site is worse. Poorly designed. Designed for someone who needs ten flashing things all over their screen. Way, way, way too many ads and popups. Stories are all three to five paragraphs long; each paragraph is just one sentence. Amazingly little content but they still manage to make at least three mistakes per article, which they never correct. Expensive, low quality, no content: lose, lose.

Compare the OD of today to the OD from the Seventies. Go and look it up. Today's OD is a faded shadow of itself. Not worth $.25. Their circulation would go up if they gave the paper away for free; then they could charge more for ads. That's how newspapers make money, not by selling paper.
Its all a Joke

Seriously why would I pay for something that I can get for free else ware?

www.wibx950.com
www.wktv.com
www.oneidadispatch.com

All are - free, less adds, and have the same news.

The UticaOD just hasn't figured it out that there are so many better options out there for free. 5 to 10 years from now the only place you will be able to find them is at the Historical Society.
But uhhhh

3 to 5 paragraphs? Never. The usual OD article is 1 - 3 paragraphs at best. Most are about stupid crap or the cny obsession with "whos arrested" because they suck up to the fake cops there for anything to print. Saying 3-5 paragraphs is being generous but untruthful hahah!
