Go with portion. Control and exercise you will be fine I know people who gained all the weight back, people having trouble. With low blood sugars, a lot of things people can't. Eat anyome they puke their guts up if they do. What am saying is the truth. I wouldn't crap for all the ones in the world. Just watch what you eat and walk your. Lazy off you will do great. For about the 2 ft long sub u. Eat and the fries and all the bread. And junk

Its pretty sad that your insurance will pay for a $7000 surgery but not a few hundred for a weightloss program. Fleecing of America.

Believe it or not I agree. I truly don't want to have surgery I don't have many options.
Dont do it. Unless you are 500 pounds and in danger of dying it is not for you. Many people have died from complications from this surgery. It is not a quick.

Try pushing yourself away from the table. All these obese people act like this just happened to them or that they are powerless. That is a crock. I watched my 25 year old morbidly obese niece get the surgery. She was huge. She ate constantly exercised not at all laid around all the time. They did surgery on her. She never tried to make sensible changes. Oh yeah she smoked too. Drank. Poor far baby. Yeah she has lost weight but well see how long it lasts. She has not addresssed her issues.

if you can walk you can lose weight. you dont need a gym or surgery or Dr G. Eat less move more. Tone up with some sit ups and puch ups and squats. It doesnt cost any money, you dont need equipment. Just walk and eat healthier.Period.

I had the bypass and am very happy with the results. It finally allowed me to feel "full" when eating. I had to commit to a lifestyle change and I am exercising more as well. I've lost over 100lbs and am about 20 away from target/goal weight. No ill effects, but do you research because things like lactose intolerance are quite common. It is a tool to assist you toward a goal. It is not an "easy" fix or cure all. You can put the weight back on if you don't follow the program. Do your homework and I would highly recommend visiting Dr. Graber for a consult. He's the top Bariatric surgeon in the State.

Dr. Graber is not the top Bariatric surgeon in the state. The long term results from their practice don't come close to the excellent results from the Bassett Bariatric program. Do your homework.

Say what you want, but every person I know that went elsewhere (including Bassett) either had complications or is failing at it. I did my research and went with Graber based on results. Long term results are up to the individual. If you follow the plan put forth by Dr. Graber, you can and will succeed. This is not some miracle instant easy way out fix it all. It is a complete lifestyle change.

It is basically a quick fix. Try using portion control, healthy foods and excercise.

I lost 30 pounds in 4 months by just counting my calories. I also know a friend who's wife died after the surgery. Walk daily or get an exercise bike like I did and count your calories!!! It Works!

I know of three people that died from this surgery , I know that some people are having trouble with. Vomiting because a lot of foods they can't eat now , I know people who put the weight back. On plus more, I know people that look so bad because they are so skinny they look very sickly and old not healthy at all. It's all portion control just eat healthy and excercise and you will be better off and live a good normal life.

Agree that it's not for everyone. Most people have that attitude that it is a quick fix which is untrue. You lose the weight fast, but need to maintain the program. Most people that don't do well either A) Didn't do their due diligence and/or B) not following the directions. Everybody is different and their bodies may react differently. I'd never tell anyone to do it without researching it and Topix isn't where to do your research.
