Just looking to see if some of you can name some of the theaters, bars, stores, etc. that you remember while growing up in this era. Some examples are Lincoln Theater, Heintz Bowling Area, Eddie's Market on Schuyler Street, and something Coalyard on Fay Street?

everybody was drunk on thursday friday and saturday nigth,I remember. Those westies could party ,see where it got them. They walk around now like bums among the rest of the dirt that grow there.

Anyone who was drinking in the 40s if they are even alive wouldn't be on topic. They are like 90!!!! Duh!

If they were old enough to be drinking in the 40's then why weren't they fighting Japs and Krouts?
